It’s Pasta 🍝 La Feasta baby! This year’s @pastalafeasta festival is celebrating all things Canadiana 🇨🇦 with flavours celebrating our great country. $3 from every participating dish sold will go to The Alex CommunityFood Centre @goodfoodyyc

I’m so glad I finally got to see this cult classic musical! 🎶 @theatrecalgary does up Little Shop of Horrors with so much joy and exuberance 🤗 that you can’t help but bop your head and dance in your seat. The show is on until October 25th so get your tickets 🎟️ asap.

And maybe wear some stretchy pants too 😝@hitchkiofficial has so many options you’ll be going back for dish after dish after dish. I loved getting to try so many new Indian foods I had never had before! Plus getting fresh naan and jalebi made in front of me was a total highlight!

Hitchki buffet prices range from $23.99 at lunch to $37.99 for dinner depending on day of week. Check it out the next time you’re up in the NE.

If you hate looking at delicious food pictures, just scroll on by 😝Otherwise, please enjoy the new fall dishes from the exquisite culinary team at @thewilderooftop. It’s always an amazing fine dining experience up on the 27th floor surrounded by Calgary’s bustling downtown towers and breathtaking views. But the star of the show as always, is the food and drink. Always impeccably presented with many locally made ingredients and creative cooking techniques that just brings out all the flavours in every bite. It might seem too early to book your holiday dinners, but get those reservations in asap as they will fill up fast.

My fave dishes of the night ✨:

💜Lightly Cured Sea Bream
This fish starter was so light and fresh. Made with cucumber, radish, bonito, horseradish and buttermilk snow

💜Pacific Halibut Wellington
I’ve never had a seafood Wellington before and this was so unique and tasty! Shrimp, scallop and cured salmon are just some of the flavors in this dish.

💜Chestnut-Stuffed Saddle of Rabbit
Hearty, rich dish for the meat lovers. But I have to say the white bean cassoulet that came on the side really hit the spot for me.

💜Red Wine-Poached Pear
This was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. It usually comes with pistachios but removed for my allergy.

Fenyk Coffee & Social is basically the answer to “where should we go?” when you want good vibes, good eats, and a place where nobody’s in a rush to leave 😍

My friends and I are always on the hunt for spots like this, so I’m very happy to report that @fenykcoffee’s third location is officially open in Rangeview - and it’s affordable too!

Their specialty cocktails are only $8 (!!), and Winedown Wednesdays mean half-off glasses AND bottles. 🍷 I mean, my girl math says this is a great deal.

There’s also something happening basically every week, from Ted Lasso watch parties to bingo nights, so you can come for the coffee and accidentally end up staying for the entire evening. 😂

With National Day for Truth and Reconciliation coming up, it feels like a good time to share @indigenousbox 🧡

This isn’t sponsored — my partner actually received one of their boxes as a conference gift, and I thought it was so unique and thoughtfully put together that I had to snap a few photos and share it with y’all.

@indigenousbox is an Indigenous-owned company based in Treaty 6 territory (aka Edmonton — we won’t hold that against them lol) that brings together products from Indigenous-owned businesses, makers and artists across the country.

We got to try bison jerky for the first time, make bannock bread, and enjoy herbal teas and chocolate. I loved getting to learn a little more about the people, stories, traditions and businesses behind the products.

The company does a lot of corporate gifting, but you can also order individual boxes, either as a seasonal subscription or a one-time gift.

Well @tequilacazadores brought together the best drinking environment with the funnest peeps! We were some of the first folks to try their new Pineapple 🍍 Infused Tequila - now available in only Alberta and BC! The cocktails were strong and flavourful - super enjoyable if you love pineapple. Thanks for the fun tequila pedal pub night out!
