✨MEET HEYSSIS — singer & songwriter✨

‘As We Are.’ is a portrait series created in celebration of International Women’s Month, highlighting women and femme creatives who contribute to Boston’s vibrant cultural community. Through conversation, reflection, and visual storytelling, each participant shares insight into their creative practice, lived experiences, and evolving sense of identity. The series centers their voices, their journeys, and the ways they shape culture through their work. Together, these stories form a collective reflection on creativity, resilience, and community.

Heyssis kill is an extraordinary talent with voice that lights a room. I’ve had the pleasure to see her perform a few times & each time I’m left in awe. From her persona, to her raw talent, Heyssis is truly a gem to be witness. I’m so glad she can be apart of this project. Thank you again 🤍 taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @krisnevaeh

Complicated available everywhere 💫

firstly, wow. This song is so special, the people involved are so special and I am so overjoyed to finally share it with the world.

My brothers Ben and Joe, I am honored to have met you both. Creating this at the @playlistretreat last year was nothing short of magic. Much love to my sister @xar_s_ for holding me down and helping me out when I got stuck. This is the first of many to come 🫶🏼

I know yall see this cover art too!! Working with Laila earlier this year was my favorite way to bring in 2025. I had a vision and she brought it to life. please go support her and her creations RIGHT now! Blessed to have my music accompanied by her art. 🫂

This song means a lot to me because It feels like a new leaf and I’m so here for it. Are you?

just completed my junior year at @playlistretreat and man… I don’t even know where to start.

leaving this space is always so bittersweet. On one end, I’m severely missing my family. The laughter, the music. The embraces, the movement. On the other side of that, I’m excited to be back home to channel the essence of Playlist in everything I do.

@djjazzyjeff @lynettectownes @daynejordan3d Saying thank you will never be enough. I’m unbelievably grateful and proud to be trusted to enter this magical place and be a part of its creative fabric. I LOVE YALL!

To my Playlist siblings old and new… may you all always remember how incredibly special your superpowers are. And if you ever lose sight of that, trust I will ALWAYS be here to remind you.

We’re truly saving the world. one jam at a time. ❤️🖤

shoutout to my brother @joedavismusic for going crazy on 📸
