A week ago today I drove into California to work for a hockey team.

I didn’t know what was ahead of me, I just knew it was gonna be something good. I knew God made crazy things line up just so. I knew in my gut this was meant to be.

3 days, 30 hours of driving, 12 hours of sleep.

What greeted me was everything I’d hoped for and more. Truly the most incredible people who already feel like friends, a job I freaking LOVE, and Addis happier than I’ve ever seen her.

New is hard, it’s scary, and it’s takes a lot of audacity to chase after it. But it is already worth it and I’m only a week in.

I hope you enjoy watching where this story takes me.

A new chapter is beginning. 📖🏒

I’m stepping away from real estate and starting the career journey I’ve been working toward in professional hockey. The fb page & my IG page will soon become Stick With Me, where I’ll share my love for hockey, talk about working in sports, and still share plenty of books along the way.

⛰️Moving to Cali came with some pretty solid adventures.

Yosemite was unreal, Addis had the time of her life, and I just kept thinking how ridiculously blessed I am.

Seeing something I made on THAT screen for the first time. 🌩️

I’m somehow even more excited for hockey season to start after getting to see my work show up on the video board and my playlist boppin’ through the arena for Select Your Seat Night.

I may have cried from the overwhelm of how much I love this job when I got home. I also could have just been really hungry and tired. It honestly could go either way. 😅
