Debut Album “Heung-A” OUT NOW!

After a lot of time and even more effort it’s finally here, our first full length album. Weighing in at 10 tracks and nearly 40 minutes I can only describe myself as proud. This is the largest, most expensive, most time consuming, and most rewarding project I have ever embarked on and I couldn’t have done it without my friends. This city has brought me a lot of good things but most of all it brought some of the greatest people in the world to share music with.

UPCOMING TAPE RELEASE: Hey There - Heung-A [PSR 051]

Paradigm Shift Records is overjoyed to have helped the DIY demolition crew @heythereband bring their debut album to cassette. You cannot go far in Portland’s underground rock scene without hearing about Hey There. They have made a name for themselves by way of their emotionally crushing performances, but the fact that they are all simply some of the nicest people you’ll meet doesn’t hurt either. Luckily, their first ever full length record “Heung-A” lives up to Hey There’s tall reputation. Half of the time, the album is delicate and gentle. The other half of it will flatten you and your house. Most of the songs manage to strike both of these polar extremes, so you may want to buckle up and review your renters insurance plan before listening.

The album releases THIS FRIDAY JULY 3RD and the tapes will be available at the artist’s merch table at the album release show which will occur that same evening at Portland’s Musicians Union Local 99 venue (325 NE 20th Avenue) as well as at subsequent shows and for purchase online via Hey There’s bandcamp page.

These C-43 cassettes were hand dubbed to tape housed in “Master Chief Yellow” shells. Lettering on the shells was done by Benton Smith. Edition of 25. by @heythereband
