// you guys did so good on the naming poll!! 🤣🤣🤣 Also, we forgot what it was like to have a baby in the house. Wally is a little younger than we thought and still needs a full tummy about every 4 hours for another week or so, which he let us know around 4am today. 😂 He has zero fear of Grover and they’ve already figured out they’re best buddies; they just have a *wee* bit of a size difference, but Grover is remembering to be gentle. We’re watching him learn to pounce and sideways hop, but sometimes his stick-straight tail throws him off balance. He sure is a good-looking little dude though, isn’t he? by @heythereitsmare

// @webhank and I did our first hike to a waterfall today. Didn’t see a darn thing, but we could hear it, and it sounded amazing. Turns out, the Blue Ridge Mountains wanted to stay hidden in the clouds today. Even so,10/10 recommend by @heythereitsmare

// EVERYONE IS LAUNCHED. I don’t know about this empty nest thing, so I didn’t get any pics of drop-offs and leaving because I was too busy with “The Big Hug” and saying, “Thank you for the tissues” from the very nice young man next to me in the chapel of Ewan’s new college. And then Holden backed out of the driveway with a couple of honks and a 🤟 wave. Yesterday, the Pantiers had one address, and today there are three. Maybe I’m just going to sit on the couch for a while today and regroup tomorrow, ok? 10-4. Boys? Remember to smile. Don’t get any more tattoos. Be careful crossing the road and always stand up for what’s right, even if it means a right hook. 💪🏻 Love you madly. by @heythereitsmare

// host families are from HEAVEN. Every summer, @holden.pantier has stayed with a different family while playing summer ball. He’s been in Kansas, North Carolina, Tennessee, and now Cape Cod. Fun fact about this family though: the mom’s family came to the Cape in the second boat after the Mayflower! Talk about original roots. Super grateful for all of you! by @heythereitsmare
