Downtempo DJ with a 🎺 & a penchant for musical edging.
Resident @_apriltojuly

POSTS STORIES REELS

For years, I've continuously heard the same advice "peak time needs to be bangers after bangers, don't lose that energy, don't lose that crowd", but since the day I started this journey, that's never been my style. Peak time, rain or shine - it doesn't matter - there's always room for experimentation, so my lust for flirting with the crowd, and bringing that element of surprise will always come before any 'advice' been given.
Here, at the last @_apriltojuly party, there was a moment to really slow things down and bring a little emotion, along with some organic energy to the dance floor (and of course a trumpet 🎺😂 why not?). It was a simple transition between the previous track and then just letting things go :)
The results were exactly as I'd imagined it. And that's why you should always follow your heart, not the crowd.

🎵 Thanks to @plumodio for this epic interpretation of 'Crazy' (and it is a banger, tbf)
📽️ Not even sure who filmed this?

Last Saturday's scenes, captured by the one and only @teodora.andrisan in her most dynamic, enigmatic and creative photo set yet. Thanks for all the moments captured Teo.
And thanks to @_apriltojuly for hosting such a memorable event in the diary.

The Germany debut was a long time coming, but I'm thrilled to say it's come with one of my favourite festivals on earth - @3000gradfestival !!! CRAZY!
I'll be there this Saturday 18:00, on their most effervescent stage; Rummelplatz.

He’s not just our resident. Not just the storyteller. He’s our anchor. ❤️

For half a decade, @heythisisfabian has opened hearts, held space, and set the tone for every journey we’ve taken together.

He knows our crowd — the tempo, the tension, the tenderness — like no one else. And on July 19th, he returns to guide us home once more.

Come early. Come open. Let the story begin.

⚠️ THIS IS NOT DOWNTEMPO... But...

... it is Fabïan's usual agenda; dark, grumpy, chunky and elasticsted. My closing set from @_apriltojuly 's "8 Years of Love" party is finally uploaded, and it's deifnitely NOT for the faint hearted!!
Credit to @ninakraviz for the thought-provoking words, which I've been dying to use to open a set for some time now. And to @teodora.andrisan for the sick photos. And of course, to the dancefloor - whom, without you, there would actually be no point to any of this (other than, maybe my own self enjoyment to blast my favourite tunes very loudly, alone in my own bedroom... which is okay too 😘).

By now, there’s probably nothing left to say about Mr. A2J himself — @heythisisfabian 😄 But today, we want to share a little backstory about how we found our way into downtempo and midtempo sounds! He is the mastermind behind it ☺️

Fabïan was one of the very first to bring this genre to London — inspired by his travels to Berlin and the magic of Burning Man. Back then, he was already running his mischievous daytime rooftop series, Revelove, and that’s where we first heard about him in 2019. Then we caught one of his sets… and got TOTALLY HOOKED.

The sound was slow, sensual, yet full of energy — it felt like a different world.

We had to reach out. And from day one, it just clicked. It felt like we were meant to cross paths. Six years ago, he played one of our earliest A2J downtempo sets at Bloop Radio — and the rest is history.

Our sound, our story— all shaped in part by him❤️

Catch Fabïan on May 31st at @number90london, joining the electrifying Tipping Point crew from Berlin.

🎟️ Grab one of our Pre 3:30 or 5:30 tickets and come early — you won’t want to miss another chapter of the story from the fabulous Ian (aka FABÏAN) — LINK IN BIO by @heythisisfabian

Alongside the Kings & Queens of bounceee, dirty & filthy beats — this one’s gonna be a rocket 💥💥💥🚀

For the new faces and the ones still thinking about coming to A2J — if you’re into niche movements, community-driven energy, and genre storytelling that lives outside the mainstream…we’re here waiting to welcome you 🥰

Jesus! Last week was WILD... I'm still shaking off the after-glow of such a starburst of crowd energy, and sensory surroundings. I spent several hours in that new @number90hideout venue, feeling like I had been whisked away to a genuine Berlin club. From a smooth warm up set by @flawdbynature; @mimi_love_berlin was the turning point of the night, a true professional at building dedicated dancefloor energy; @madmotormiquel in full groove-mode, took the panoramic club venue to an A-Grade Berlin Renate-style house party - if you know, you know!

I brought you those grumpy, chunky, hard-hitting boomers, which consequently set the tone for our next @_apriltojuly party, teaming up with @tipping.point.music - the Kings and Queens of raw, rugged, grouchy sounds. If you thought my set hit hard, then wait for the next event! TICKET LINK IN BIO 🎟
