the last few years have been a rollercoaster, and navigating all of life's challenges under pressure hasn't always been the easiest, but it's been so worth it.

the smallest things matter so much to me now and i'm glad they do. it feels like i’m finally catching my stride and things are falling more into place.

i have a lot to be grateful for, and it starts with my fam. i'm not one of those people who always sweetens everything up like there's never any issues or stress. there's a ton of it!

it's the small moments in between that chaos that really make me happy: weekends, making pizza as a family, movie/game nights in bed, and of course K1 Speed with my daughter (who may or may not have almost beaten me).

i just crave the positive energy.

recharging is key

everyone's week is stressful, hard at times, and my favorite way to recharge lately is by doing little on the weekends. by checking out, just spending my time with these two is enough for me.

i know it's hard to find the time to power it down, just be present, and recharge but i promise it's worth it, if you aren't looking forward to the weekend, you're doing it wrong.

whether it's an hour, a day, or a week.. make the time. don't wait for life to slow down bc let's be real, it's not gonna.

be present. enjoy the small stuff. be grateful for the people in front of you.

none of us are getting any younger, and we still haven't figured out how to slow down the clock..

so make the time now.

today would've been Ryan's birthday.

i've thought a lot about what it means to leave a void behind. what a tremendous honor it is to live a life that means so much to people that years later, they still think about you, still talk about you, still miss you like it was yesterday.

Ryan was that kind of person.

almost 10 years, he wasn't just a client, he was one of my closest friends. we traveled together. celebrated wins together. made more memories in Vegas than i could ever count or ever compare to. he took care of everyone around him — his team, his community, anyone lucky enough to know him.

it still doesn't feel real, and it still hasn't gotten much easier.

i think about how we should all strive to live a life that means something to the people around us. it comes down to our actions. how we show up. what we do for the people we love. the kind of friend, leader, and person we choose to be.

that's the legacy Ryan left.

the size of the void someone leaves behind is a reflection of how deeply they were loved and how much they truly mattered. and Ryan mattered to more people than he probably ever knew.

what an amazing guy. what an amazing decade of memories.

happy birthday Ryan! miss you every day, brother.

false motivation!

sometimes you just don’t feel like it.. don’t feel like getting up early, don’t feel like sticking to your routine.

you don’t find the time for it. you make it. first thing i sacrifice lately is sleeping in. i just get up earlier and get it done before the day gets a say, before the chaos and noise.

this morning that looked like a cold plunge at 8am before anything else could talk me out of it!

motivate yourself first. people are watching, whether you know it or not. by @heyyyykp

he doesn’t know it yet, but this is one of the good ones. one he’ll look back on someday.

not everybody gets grandma time like this, and i don’t take it for granted for a second. every decision i make gets run through one filter lately, does this make life better for the people i love.
