We’ve been doing a series focusing on each of our members, and today’s spotlight is on @hgsorme! An incredibly busy man, but an incredibly talented one, Harry’s frequently gigging all over, but we pinned him down long enough to ask him some questions. by @hgsorme

What’s your process? It was another memorable night at the Cardi on Thursday as this month’s songwriters all delivered stunning performances of work-in-progress material, sharing with us their processes. The Cardigan Arms is very very lucky to be surrounded by so much passion. Join us again in September for our part concert, part songwriting experiment as three more exceptional artists take on the challenge of writing to the secret prompt. This Thursday we have the next edition of @throughlinesleeds at @thecardiganarms, featuring the wonderful @heresthesteeplemusic, @tjhammond_ and @zoecure_music, hosted by our very own @sol_edwards . If you've heard any of these fine folks before, I know that you won't need any more persuading than that - having said that, it does bear mentioning that Tom, in all his madness and wisdom, has written and recorded a WHOLE NEW ALBUM JUST FOR THE NIGHT, which will be available to purchase. Come on down, this is going to be a good one. Here's some CGDGAD taken in Burley, Leeds by @hgsorme

Throughlines! Tonight! Here I am trying to answer your burning questions like: can a song just be all the minor chords?? And what's the big deal about being "in a key" anyway?? Unfortunately the wonderful @tinesha.kinley has had to pull out because of an injury - we're wishing her a speedy recovery, and I'll be trying to fill her enormous shoes with a set of my songs, probably a bit of a retrospective of everything I've written for this night so far, as well as a brand new song based on this month's secret prompt. You've got new music from the wonderful @__theluca__ and @wychbury.band to look forward to - @thecardiganarms, doors 7.15, PAYF on the door or you can make a donation in advance online to secure your spot. See you there! by @hgsorme
