This day was a whole movieee ✨
Authentic sisterhood is truly delightful.

We spent International Women’s Day in community at “Wholly His,” learning and sharing on our experience of womanhood as women of color. We worshipped, prayed and broke bread together. We grieved, healed, and laughed together.

My heart is so full!

I prayed for this.

There was a season in my life (a long season at that) where I felt I didn’t belong. I constantly tried to fit in and it just wasn’t working.

God showed me that there is a reason for that…I was never meant to “blend in.”

He’s called me to stand out. He allowed me to experience this, so that I’d make sure to create space for those around me to feel seen, heard and loved.
Sometimes when you’re going through suffering, you may experience different emotions, and lots of questions. And that is totally okay, give yourself the space to process.

If you’re going through something right now, I invite you not to isolate. Tap into community, be honest with God (and with people you trust) about how you’re feeling, and take it one step at a time.
