Used the cheapest Halloween makeup kit I could find at the store. I might need to invest in some higher quality stuff because this was so fun but oh gid, did it start drying and cracking towards the end there! This was a trial run.

Did you catch the Partial Luner Eclipse the other night? Having only my 75-200mm lens and no tripod, made these images extra challenging. The window I was practically hanging out of was made things even more challenging. But I’m so glad I grabbed my camera. What do you think? Did I capture the feel of the eclipse?

Washington coast tide pools. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve visited the coast while living in Washington. My hope is to make it out again before the end of summer. I took these photos back in March when Nova and I camped in our car on the coast. Where is a place close to you that you want to visit and explore more?

A sweet little hummingbird friend that use to visit my flowers several years ago. One of my favorite visitors. It enjoyed zooming past me and chirping at me from my flower cages. He sat patiently as I brought out my camera and had a very mini photoshoot.

Realizing this will probably be one of the last foggy mornings I’ll get to have looking out behind my house’s fence. Watching the fog creeping by between the trees. It makes me determined to try to get out there early sometime this week, before the rest of the world wakes up, so I can capture the ghostly blanket of fog that always rises, untucking the forest floor gently before it begins it’s day. Perhaps tomorrow. For now I’ll just admire it from the bed a little longer.

“Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul”. A beautiful family heirloom. Owned by his family since he was three, Robbie now gets to continue the family tradition. It was great meeting you and remember to keep the rubber side down ✌️

It’s been WEEKS since I’ve been able to get out with my camera and I am definitely feeling the impact on my mental state of not grounding myself in nature. I’ve been in the process of moving for what feels like forever. I’m ready to feel the wait of it all lifted off of me so I can concentrate on the things I want for my future and the activities I love like getting out and shooting photos. But until then I will look through some old photos such as this mirrors shot I took up at Lake Wenatchee State Park years ago now.
