You would think after 6 years married and 11 years together we’d get sick of each other at some point…but quite the contrary, I miss him more and more I’m away from this guy. Hay momentos que llegan justo cuando uno lo necesita ❤️‍🩹

Este fin de semana me recordó que en el medio aún existen los lugares donde puedes estar rodeada de personas que te reciben con los brazos abiertos, con una sonrisa sincera y con un abrazo que te hace sentir como en casa.

Gracias a mis alumnas por aguantar 19 horas de clases metidas en menos de 2 días. El verlas vivir su primer seminario, compartir con nuestro Kumu y convivir con nuestros hermanos de hula fue algo que soñé por mucho tiempo. Me conmoví de verlas tan motivadas, inspiradas y super conectadas con su hula.

Gracias a mis hermanos de hula por hacerme sentir tan querida y por cada palabra bonita que me compartieron.

Gracias de todo corazón a Miss Adriana Rojas @tutaunga por todo el cariño con el que organiza cada uno de estos encuentros. Gracias por hacer posible que vivamos experiencias tan especiales y por hacerme sentir parte de su familia. Esta ocasión fue todavía más bonito ver que ese mismo cariño también abrazó a mis alumnas 🤍🌺

Na Haku Aloha 2026 🌺

Este fin de semana nuestras alumnas Leolani vivieron su primer seminario de hula al estilo Kawaili’ulā. El compartir con nuestro Kumu y convivir con nuestros hermanos de hula fue algo que se soñó por mucho tiempo.

Todas regresamos motivadas, inspiradas y más conectadas con nuestro hula y eso es una de las satisfacciones más grandes que nos ha dado Kawaili’ulā. Aprender con Kumu Keoni y regresar con el corazón lleno nos recuerda por qué amamos tanto este camino.

To say that this week has been hard has been an understatement for our ‘ohana as we have lost two of our mana wāhine in our lives. To my Aunty Marie and my cousin Rose, you both have shown nothing but aloha and kindness to us. You both have been my some of my most loyal supporters in hula, in life, and in love. You both have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to continue doing what I love doing. Ke Akua truly has gained two new beautiful angels. Although sad you are not here on this earthly land anymore, I am truly happy that you both are not in pain anymore. I feel it was too soon to have you both leave us, but I know that you can both rest in aloha forever on the wings of angels. Say hi to grandpa for us okay? Miss you both and love you both forever. What an amazing week with my ‘ohana to celebrate my nephews 18th birthday!! ‘Ohana is everything in my life and I’m so happy we got a chance to share our time together to celebrate such an amazing milestone!! @ponz_bugga You and Shane did such an awesome job raising Kapono, we are so proud of you! I’m grateful to call these coworkers of mine my hoa, my friends. Through good and bad flights, through medicals, delays, and even boring flights, we work hard to make sure that people get to their destinations safely. Got to spend time with my best friends Kumuhula Keoni Fukino-Javier and his husband Alvin, and Dr. Jon Kuahiwi Moniz-Tran and his husband AJ. We have a total of 40 years of friendship together- from college to working as educators at Kamehameha Schools. They reside in San Diego for years, thriving kānaka in their thriving community. I love you all so much. Mahalo Dr. Kuahiwi for the hospitality, the ʻono food, laughters, hours of talking, and the hours in your jacuzzi. Before the day is finished, I just wanted to say that I’m beyond grateful for everyone who messaged me today. I am grateful, humbled, and blessed to have you all in my life. Each one of you that I have come to know, have a piece of my heart that I will cherish forever. Every story we make together, every memory we share together, and every meal we eat together continues and will continue to make my heart piha, full and complete.
