This life is preparation: His message was essentially: don't treat this worldly life as the final reality. What matters ultimately is what a person sends forward through faith, righteous deeds, repentance, and obedience to Allah.

The day Salahuddin

Ayyubi R.A. liberated Al-Quds.

On this day, Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi R.A entered Al-Quds after nearly nine decades of Crusader rule. The liberation of Jerusalem was the culmination of years of struggle, sacrifice, military campaigns, and political effort.

For Salahuddin, Al-Quds was not simply another city to conquer. It held a profound place in the hearts of Muslims as the first qiblah and the site of Masjid al-Aqsa. After the decisive Battle of Hattin in July 1187, the balance of power shifted dramatically, and Salahuddin's forces gradually reclaimed much of the region before Jerusalem itself surrendered.

What makes the memory of that day enduring is not only the victory, but the manner in which Salahuddin dealt with the people of Jerusalem after its surrender. Unlike the bloodshed that had accompanied the Crusader conquest of the city in 1099, the surrender of 1187 was followed by terms that allowed many inhabitants to leave through negotiated arrangements. taken in المملكة العربية السعودية by @hi_t_le

Saudi Arabia marks its 96th National Day on September 23, 2026, celebrating the historic unification of the Kingdom by King Abdulaziz Al Saud in 1932.

Observed under the theme “Our Pride Lies in Our Nature,” this year's nationwide festivities honor the country's rich heritage, deep-rooted values, and ambitious path forward through spectacular air shows, military processions, and vibrant green light displays across cities like Riyadh and Jeddah.

We are all selective sinners.

We choose the sins we are comfortable with and judge others for the ones we can't accept."
