The day my life changed forever. 🥹🐾

6/13/2026 I went to the rescue and came home with Hibachi. 🤍 I didn’t know his whole story or everything he had been through—I just knew he deserved a home, love, and a family of his own.

From rescue dog to my little best friend. 🐶🤍

This was the day he came home. 🏡 Do you remember the day you brought your rescue home? 🥹

POV: you’re a squirrel just trying to enjoy your day and suddenly Hibachi clocks in for neighborhood patrol 🐿️🚨😂

Bro really thought this was a high-speed pursuit 💨🐾

Lately we’re working on: SIT, DOWN, PAW TREAT👀

Bachi: “What’s in it for me?” 😂

One treat at a time. 🐶🩵 Does your dog take their sweet time?

Being a rescue means there’s still so much we’re learning together. 🥹 we worked on getting comfortable with the ramp—and of course, a few treats helped. 😂🦴 Little steps, big wins. 💙 we love @platopettreats salmon training treats!

Keep it sizzlin’, Hibachi style 🔥🐾

His government name is Hibachi… but he answers to Bachi, Bachi Boy, Lil’ BB etc. and literally anything said in the treat voice 😂🐾

At this point, Hibachi is just a suggestion. FUN FACT: His name came about jokingly and thru various names he responded to only “Hibachi” and in essence he chose his own name 🤣 runner ups were Teriyaki, Yoshi, Dash, Kabigon, and Sushi!

What cool 😎 nicknames do you call your dog? 😂👇#hibachithepomsky #dogsofinstagram #rescuedog #dognames by @hibachithepomsky
