I'm having a blast with this mural project! If you haven't met me before, I'm Christy Perez, a central Florida mural artist. When I'm not painting, I spend my time as the principal for middle and high school students. I absolutely love BOTH jobs!

Here’s the latest mural I completed just before Thanksgiving for the residents of an assisted living center here in Central Florida. This is a door distraction, disguising the emergency exit doors, so the memory care residents don’t accidentally exit the wrong place. by @hibiscus.art

🎨✨ Just a short drive from Winter Garden… and totally worth it.

Right across from The Roasted Spirit, in the heart of downtown Clermont, extending from Osceola Street near Sun Creek Brewery to Montrose Street, you’ll find some of the most beautiful murals and photo spots popping up all throughout the area.

Back in 2024 this whole stretch turned into a mini art walk, Cherrylake Murals, filled with color, creativity, and those perfect “stop and snap a pic” moments. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, heading to dinner, or just exploring, it’s one of those spots that makes you slow down and take it all in.

We love seeing neighboring communities invest in spaces like this it brings people together, supports local artists, and gives all of us new places to explore.
