I’ve never been quite this intimate on IG (pun intended) but here goes. We talk about clean skincare. Clean makeup. Clean food. But what about the fabric that sits against your body all day? Here’s why this matters: Most conventional cotton is one of the most heavily pesticide treated crops in the world. Those chemicals do not just disappear after harvest. Fabrics are often bleached, dyed, and treated with finishing agents that can leave residues sitting directly against the most absorbent, sensitive part of our bodies. Studies have found endocrine disrupting chemicals like BPA and even PFAS showing up in some intimate apparel and period products. These are linked to hormone disruption and long term health concerns. The tricky part is that underwear sits in constant contact with lymph nodes and reproductive organs. So fabric matters. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. It is typically processed with fewer harsh chemical treatments. That means less potential irritation, more breathability, and less overall chemical exposure over time. It is a small switch. But small daily switches compound. That is what led me to try @pact. If something touches my body every single day, I want to feel good about it. You do not have to overhaul your entire closet overnight. Just start asking better questions about what sits closest to your skin. Link for these panties on ShopMy in my bio. If you’ve already made the switch to organic underwear, what brand are you wearing and why? 🩲 #fashion #organicunderwear #nontoxicliving #sustainablefashion by @hichlsy
I had the honor of helping this beautiful bridal curate a wardrobe for her wedding in Rome last year. I’ve been itching to post pics from our shopping trip in Miami 🤍 #personalstylist #bridal #bridalstyle #weddingstylist #wedding by @hichlsy

X·X·MMXXV, until forever. In a moment between our love-filled ceremony and an enchanted candlelit dinner, we were whisked outside of Palazzo Talìa into the living pulse of Rome. Surrounded by strangers and serenaded by resounding echoes of “Auguri!”, we were overcome with transcendent calm and quiet joy, amid the city’s beautiful chaos. “We did it. We’re married. In Rome!” Once at the Spanish Steps, we were bathed in the warmth of Roman golden hour. Crowds parted; stares softened into smiles. The busiest place in the city felt like it was holding its breath just for us. Day one & already looking at real estate💛 by @hichlsy
“Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” Coco Chanel said it. I respect it. But accessories are where personality lives. In this look, I repurposed a chain from a handbag, threw on my favorite concert sunglasses, and suddenly the outfit had a point of view. (Deodorant marks scrubbed off right before leaving, obviously.) Less isn’t always more. Intentional is. by @hichlsy

Sausalito is my mom and I’s favorite little escape, but this trip felt especially inspiring. We started at @icb_art, the old shipyard warehouse turned creative hive. 100+ artists opened their studios, each one a different universe of color, texture, experimentation. Even though it’s not my medium, watching them create made me want to play more. Try more. Make mistakes. Mix colors I “never would.” Then we wandered along the harbor to @2200studios where the incredibly cool @matty_mc_d walked us through redwood-lined corridors that once held Stevie Nicks vocals and late-night creative chaos. It all sparked ideas around ’70s textures, earthy palettes, soft suedes, draped knits and vintage quilting. It reminded me that fashion at its best is storytelling. A reminder: let the places you love shape what you create. by @hichlsy
