In the lead-up to Hidden next week, we leave you with this highlight from our archives…🌀🌀🌀 Artist spotlight: Katie Bowdery (@katiebowdery | katiebowdery.com) Role: Technical Instructor in Making, Graduate Diploma Artwork: In the Company of Invisibles (2024–2026) Medium: Cyanotype on 270gsm Bread and Butter Paper About the work: “This work bends and scatters light into quiet, almost celestial forms. Made using cyanotype and collected glass from old projectors, it emerged through chance and experimentation, allowing light to leave its own marks somewhere between control and surrender. The work is informed by research into esoteric traditions, sacred geometry, and quantum physics, and more recently by grief and memory. It asks for slow looking, holding light as a trace of presence, absence, and what lingers beyond sight.” Join us at the upcoming exhibition, 27-31 October!
