One of my biggest inspirations is this man right here!!!! @nipseyhussle
.
.
He taught me that I was already good enough. That I deserve to do this. You deserve this too. Now you’re the one that defines what “this” is for you.
.
.
So just start whatever it is you wanna dive into and if they judge you. Remind them, “JUDGE ME BY PROGRESS”🙏🏼

what started as episode 48 of hidden julz turned into Issue 001 of Hidden Julz Magazine🤗🙏🏼⭐️ let me introduce @archivedemoi a fashion designer from Portland, Oregon!!
.
.
Introduced to me by his wife at midcity Mercado, Moises and I quickly set up an interview. After an amazing conversation, we realized the audio got corrupted. However, rising above challenges, we collaborated to save the story to bring you this article.
.
.
Moisés shares with us how he was able to turn waste into art, how the power of community has helped build him as a designer and how important fashion is. Fashion is a cultural memory that holds so much of who we are. This article hopes to highlight some of who Moises is.
.
.
It all boils down to what YOU want to do. To quote Moises, "Tomorrow is never promised" so you better get to your dreams today. It's not handed to you but put in the work and THE WORLD IS YOURS 🌎💎🙏🏼

Shoutout Cobain for bringing this song back into my memory 🤯🔥 however aside from being one of the best lyrics in music history, it's some solid advice
.
.
As Cobain mentions in the interview, some of the loudest people in the room tend to do the fewest things. Thus, move in silence and pop out later
.
.
Solid advice and I completely agree💯💯💯

A quote that Taylor leaves us with is this & I really like it
.
.
The minute you let go of the doubt & the what if's. All the worry that comes with things not working out. It's a quote like this that brings you that inner peace.
.
.
Trust your timing. Stay on your grind. Things will come to fruition eventually 🙏

Shoutout to my guest @dreadfro772 for this great piece of wisdom!!!
.
.
He mentions Ebon Coast by Andy McKee is his baseline. It's where he likes to measure himself and while we couldn't tag that specific song, here's another song that is greatly cherished by Malik. Huge shoutout to him for coming on my podcast 🎙️✨✨
