POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today we’re presenting another song from our upcoming album 'Du wurdest noch nie geliebt'. The record will now be released by @bhn_prod on 6th November.

As some of you may have noticed, the song has already been available online since last week.

Some takes on the lyrics as well:

'Zurückgetrieben, ins dröhnende Schwarz' deals with the existential task of confronting our own finitude and the fact that, in the face of a dark and bleak nothingness, we are nothing but insignificant dust.

So be kind to one another and stick together; you’re going to die and vanish anyway.

"Ein klammer Blick der Güte. Auf alles was stirbt. Pesthauch der Vergebung. Eine starre Umarmung, die schmerzt. Faser um Faser – löst sich. Zerschlissen und nekrot. Zurückgetrieben, ins dröhnende Schwarz."

("A clinging gaze of kindness. Upon all that dies. Pestilent breath of forgiveness. A rigid embrace that hurts. Fiber by fiber — it unravels. Frayed and necrotic. Driven back into the roaring black.")

The recordings took place with Jan Oberg (@grin_cult) at @hiddenplanetstudio.

We’ll reveal the actual cover artwork by Chris from @misanthropicartillustrations with the actual preo-order announcment.

Recording cold songs in cold Berlin is easy when you do it in a warm atmosphere.

Two weeks ago we were at @hiddenplanetstudio and it couldn’t have gone better. We recorded, mixed, and mastered ten songs plus three ambient tracks in five days.

Thanks to Jan (@grin_cult) for being the most professional, patient cynic out there.

And thanks to Chris (@cwt.breuer/@zahn.band) for providing us the most comfortable hostage.

The record slays and has become a black, rotten and slimy chunk of sludge. The vinyl/tape will be released this year by Alex (@iskandr_al_ithymia) via @bhn_prod. taken in Berlin, Germany by @hiddenplanetstudio

We’re thrilled to announce that a long-awaited reissue of our debut album “Revenant” is finally available for preorder. It wasn’t just GRIN’s first release, but also the very first release from our small indie label The Lasting Dose Records. Back then started as a small side project, “Revenant” was written and recorded by us in just two weeks, and is, thanks to its raw energy and gut-wrenching heaviness, still one of our best releases for many of you. The album is available in two different colors (Blue Curacao and Tequila Sunrise), each limited to 150 copies.
All tracks have been remastered by J. Oberg in 2025 at @hiddenplanetstudio
