The time has come to unveil the cover art for our album 𝑴𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒐 recorded with @alainjohannes and set for release on January 9th (pre-orders begin on December 5th) on @libraryoftheoccult.

The artwork, created for us by @jordanwarrenvisuals, stems from discussions we had about the book “The Call of Cthulhu”, where some sailors come across a megalithic structure of weird angles and design that rose up out of the ocean after an earthquake.

A vision that could be described as post-apocalyptic, depicting a familiar coastal landscape, perhaps located in the south of France. A dolmen made of two guitar bodies and a bass dominates the seabed. This powerful monument seems to have a direct influence on the disturbance occurring above the surface... what our guitar dolmen has risen? by @hifiklub

@gumball.band – Revolution on Ice. A record to play back to back. It’s the band’s third and final album, released in 1994 on Columbia, produced by @instantmayhem and @john_agnello. A gem from our secret sonic garden.

September 28, 2007. A few days after releasing our first album French Accent, we played Marsatac in Marseille – with @Earl Slick (official), guitarist for David Bowie and John Lennon, who had just mixed the record. Our first real stage. What was the first concert you ever played or attended?

[HIFIKLUB XX]
Nashville, September 2011. We were filming I Am A Genius (And There's Nothing I Can Do About It) – our documentary about R. Stevie Moore (@rsteviemooretwin). Roger Ferguson – one of Stevie's closest friends – opened his studio to us without hesitation. We'd never met him before, yet he welcomed us like old friends – best burgers, warmest atmosphere. Most of the soundtrack was recorded there in a single day. We were deeply saddened to learn of his passing.

Rares sont les groupes 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆 dont les productions les plus récentes renversent autant la table - si ce n’est encore plus, à notre goût - que les sorties historiques. C’est bien le cas des @theyounggodsmusic hier au @6micaix dont la set list habile nous a permis de prendre toute la mesure sur scène des derniers albums en date. One night he played a show with us as his backing band. We were still onstage, mid-last song, when he quietly slipped away into the night. We kept playing. He didn't come back for two days. Iggor Cavalera co-founded Sepultura with his brother Max. Today the two are back together in Cavalera. In January 2021, he also co-wrote ten tracks with us for Scorpklub Toulon – from his London studio, responding to our Toulon sessions. @w_lacalmontie filmed us in Pigna in 2022 and in Ramatuelle in 2023. He also made a film about the Mémorial du Débarquement on Mont Faron, using one of our tracks as its soundtrack. He has a way of making a place feel like it's listening. Which location in the South of France would you pick for a music shoot?
