Had to try that viral soup dumpling lasagna and honestly saved so much time. Now I just need a steam basket.

For my filling i mixed together:
- 1 lb ground pork
- green onion
- minced ginger
- chopped cilantro
- shallots
- minced garlic
- shoyu
- sesame oil
- shaoxing wine
- oyster sauce
- buldak sauce *optional

Directions:
1. In oven safe bowl add layer of wonton wrappers (probably best to use one or not have them overlap as much). Then a thin layer of pork filling and alternate until you get to the last one.
2. Add some water on top of the pork layer then place last layer of wonton wrappers on top. Steam for about 30 minutes and add chili oil on top. Enjoy! by @higashiskitchen

Girl dinner so I had to make some crispy rice!

Fried my rice in oil. Add cornstarch if you want before frying. Then topped with avocado, spicy ahi, green onion, and unagi sauce! by @higashiskitchen

I moved to San Francisco with my friend Skylar in 2018 pretty much on a whim bc she was moving here for work. Best decision ever 🥹

I really believe everyone should live outside of their hometown at least once in your life. There’s something so special about starting over somewhere new, figuring out things as you go, and building your own little community.

Finding all these old photos makes me so nostalgic. So lucky we moved right before Covid and got to experience the city so crowded and lively! I can’t believe 8 years has flown by. I never thought I’d stay in San Francisco this long but I truly fell in love with the city and all the people in it.

So so grateful for all the friendships, memories, & life lessons from these years. Who knew this would be such a huge chapter in my life 🤍✨ taken in San Francisco, California by @higashiskitchen

Something about corned beef hash patties are so comforting to me 🫶🏼 it’s been the craziest week with my last day at work, packing, moving, & everything in between. I just needed to make something that would put my mind at ease.

Our last day in the city is Monday and we’re STILL waiting to hear back about our apartment. So stressful but it’s out of my hands now all we can do is wait and enjoy the last few days here 🤎 God has a plan for us and I know it’ll all work out how it’s supposed to by @higashiskitchen

My ultimate favorite spots on Fillmore Street 🤎 Dare I say one of the best streets to hang out on in SF!! So much good food, drinks, shopping & coffee all within a few blocks. You really can’t go wrong!

I was lucky enough to manage No Rest for Bridget on Fillmore for the past 2+ years, so I’ve spent A LOT of time on this street hahaha. These were always the spots I’d recommend when customers asked where they should go in the neighborhood!

Going to miss this little community in SF so much 🥹 Here are some of my Fillmore faves that you need to try/save for later!!

Also not on this list but recommend:
- Tailors Son (pasta & wine)
- Jane on fillmore (salads & brunch)
- Harrys bar (duh)
- Dumpling Story (dumplings & noodles)

Crispy gau gee 🤤 One of my favorite things to get from Chinese restaurants back home! Always with hot mustard on the side. Golden wheel was my favorite in Aiea but they’re not there anymore 😩 drop your fave spots on Oahu⬇️ by @higashiskitchen
