Just in time for the season of love, filmmaker/producer @darrrrryljones of local @highdivestudio is debuting his newest short film, Tandem, at @the.rialto Friday, Feb. 6. A love letter to Raleigh and inspired by Jones' own story, the “bicycle romance” is about two strangers who meet for the first time riding bikes in the City of Oaks—and fall in love.

Read about how the film came together at the link in bio—and be sure to save the date for the premiere, hosted by @nick.neptune, which will also feature opening remarks by Mayor Janet Cowell; a variety show with stories, poetry and performances; and a Q&A with the actors and filmmakers. (Link in bio for tickets.)

📣📣 Film friends and family! I am excited to announce our casting call for our ORIGINAL MUSICAL “Together Tomorrow.” 🎵🎶

Produced by yours truly, with music and lyrics by @lisette.glodowski and @richard.c.walter

🎤 We are looking for actors who can SING to bring this special production to life. Below are the roles:

🙋🏽‍♀️Claire (Lead, 25-39) - Bright. Cheery. Hopeful. An aspiring artist who bravely soldiers on with a smile but she’s stuck in her own ways, and feels intimidated by other artists’ confidence.

🙆🏼‍♀️Jules (Lead 20-30) - Quiet. Reserved. New to publicly displaying her art. Usually in her own shell but once out and with people she is comfortable with, she becomes full of life and energy.

💁‍♀️Christine (Supporting 20-30) - Spirited. Talented. Naturally confident. Accustomed to praise. An artist who seems to find success easily.

📆 Vocal recordings are happening in late August in Hillsborough, NC with production scheduled for spring 2027 in Wilmington, NC. This is a paid, SAG production.

👉👉👉 Please submit on Actor’s Access under the title “Together Tomorrow.” Or on Backstage (link in bio).

Looking forward to seeing your submissions!
