A year ago if you told me I'd become a person that chooses to walk to Disney parks from the parking structure just to get a little more walking I'd tell you to stop joking.

Today I am happy to say that taking those extra steps, although still difficult sometimes, really does show the progress I've made at being more consistent with movement. I still struggle with ankle/foot pain but slowly getting stronger.

How can I not have fun walking at a place like this!?✨

Had a blast on the first 5k of the An Extremely Goofy Virtual Challenge Series! Fitting we were by the water for the Just Around the Riverbend Virtual 5k. Doing one race a month during the summer to complete the challenge!

Doesn't matter what walk a life you're at show up for yourself. I am dealing with an injury but I'm committed to the races I signed up for. It's okay to walk 5ks when we can't run! Special shout-out to @iam.irenegomez for inspiring me to sign up for these races!

I don't always want to show up, but I always feel better when I do. This seasons goal really is just to show up for myself and become a stronger more active version of myself. I want to choose consistency over perfection and enjoy life every step of the way. Taking it one day at a time ✨🏋🏽‍♀️

Growing up I remember always having so much fun getting together creating memories and following traditions, like making tamales and dancing the night away.

Love that this snowball is a tradition at our Christmas get-togethers now.

Today's goals for my solo round were simple: have fun, get a birdie, and don't throw over 6 on a hole.

Definitely met said goals and surpassed my expectations! The wind had me laughing at some throws.

But I was there for a fun time and the score really didn't matter 🙈😆
