At High Rise, we’re building pre-vocational skills one step at a time! 🙌🏼❤️ Filling orders assembly-line style is such a great way to work on a variety of important skills, including following directions, sequencing, fine motor coordination, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and independence. Every person has a role and every step matters.

It’s about so much more than filling orders. It’s about building confidence, developing real-world skills, and creating opportunities for our adults to shine! ❤️

Social Hour at High Rise has been such a beautiful experience! These group activities give our adults the opportunity to practice independence, build friendships, communicate, and work together toward a common goal. Watching them take ownership of the activities, encourage one another, and figure things out as a team has been an incredible skill to witness.

It’s more than just having fun—it’s about building confidence, strengthening social skills, and showing our adults that they are capable of so much when given the opportunity to lead, participate, and succeed together. ❤️ by @highrisedhc

💛 HIGH RISE NEEDS YOU! 💛

High Rise is looking for volunteers who are ready to serve, connect, encourage, and make a difference in the lives of the incredible adults we serve.

We believe every adult deserves opportunities to learn, grow, build friendships, discover their gifts, and be a meaningful part of their community. But we can’t do it alone! 🙌🏽

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to have a willing heart. ❤️

If you’ve ever said, “I want to make a difference,” this may be your opportunity.

We have two upcoming Special Olympic events. Football and Bowling-with 20-30 of our adults competing! 🌟
