I STARTED THIS JOURNEY IN 2022. I DIDN’T EARN MY LICENSE UNTIL 2026. 🪂

Four years, Four years of setbacks,Four years of waiting, Four years of wondering when my turn would come. A lot of people would have walked away. A lot of people would have decided the dream was too far away and simply quit.I didn’t.I kept coming back. I kept learning. I kept pushing. I kept believing that one day I would be able to call myself a licensed skydiver. And in 2026, that day finally came. Looking back, I realize the journey was never just about getting my license. It was about learning that your timeline doesn’t determine whether your dream is possible. Sometimes the dream takes longer than you expected. Sometimes life gets in the way. Sometimes you have to start over. But if you refuse to quit, the story isn’t over. 2022 — I started dreaming.
2026 — I started living it.

Now I get to wake up and live something I once only imagined. Licensed skydiver. Dream accomplished. 🪂And this is only the beginning.Never quit on the life you know you’re capable of living. taken in Skydive Paraclete XP by @highspeed.amari

I ALMOST DIDN’T MAKE IT HERE.
Deeper than Skydiving,
Not because I didn’t have dreams.
Not because people didn’t love me.
But because there was a point where the pain inside my head became louder than everything around me.
I almost took my own life.

Most people never knew. I learned how to smile. How to show up. How to tell everyone I was okay while quietly fighting a battle I didn’t know how to explain.

Then I found skydiving. 🪂
What started as a sport became a reason to keep going. It gave me purpose, brotherhood, community, and people who reminded me that I belonged. Every climb into that plane reminds me: I’m still here. Every exit reminds me: I still have dreams.Every freefall reminds me: I’m alive. Every landing reminds me: there’s another chapter waiting. Skydiving didn’t magically fix me. It gave me something worth fighting for.

This September, I’m speaking about something we don’t talk about enough—men’s mental health. Men are often told to be strong, hide the pain, handle it alone, and keep moving.I know exactly what that silence can cost.
So if you’re struggling right now Please stay, Please speak up, Please reach out, Please give yourself another day.
You are not weak. You are not a burden.
You are not alone.I almost ended my story.
Instead, I decided to keep writing it.

Today, I’m chasing dreams, building relationships, jumping out of airplanes, and living moments I once never thought I’d see. I’m still fighting. I’m still healing.
I’m still here. 🌎📍🪂

Your story isn’t over.

Part 2… to be continued @trustfundconny

Brotherhood,

Skydiving gave me more than the feeling of freefall it gave me brotherhood. 🪂

Some people define family by blood. I found another kind of family in the sky. The people I’ve met through this sport have become some of the most genuine, phenomenal relationships in my life. People who push me, believe in me, laugh with me, challenge me, and remind me that I’m never truly alone.

I’m still healing from things I don’t always talk about. There are wounds that don’t disappear just because you keep moving forward. But somewhere between the plane rides, the exits, the freefalls, and the moments standing on the ground together, I’ve found pieces of myself I thought I had lost.

That’s what makes this brotherhood so special. We don’t just share the sky we share the journey. We celebrate each other’s victories, carry each other through the hard days, and create memories that will last far beyond the landing.

I’m grateful for every person this sport has brought into my life. Thankful for the brotherhood. Thankful for the healing. Thankful for the relationships that continue to remind me that there is still so much life left to live.

The sky gave me a place to fly.
The people gave me a reason to keep climbing. 🪂💙 📸 @g35gurl taken in Skydive Paraclete XP by @highspeed.amari

After a couple weeks away from the sport, there’s nothing like being back at my home DZ. 🪂

Friday was a reminder of just how much I truly love this sport. Being back in the air, surrounded by incredible people, chasing the next level it felt like coming home.

My drive for results hasn’t changed. If anything, the time away made me even more hungry. I want to keep learning, keep improving, and keep pushing myself to become the best skydiver I can possibly be. Every jump gives me something new to work on, another weakness to strengthen, and another reason to keep showing up.

But somewhere along the way, I realized it’s not just about the results.

With every jump, I fall a little deeper in love with the sport itself the freedom, the discipline, the adrenaline, the people, the challenges, and those moments when everything just clicks.

I’m grateful to be back. Grateful for every person who continues to pour knowledge into me. Grateful for every jump. And grateful that I found something that makes me want to become better every single day.

The goals are still high. The work continues.

But most importantly, I’m enjoying the journey. 🪂

Back home. Back in the sky. And just getting started. 📸Phenomenal work @l_azverde taken in Skydive Paraclete XP by @highspeed.amari

Nothing better than meeting good people who share the same passion for flying and immediately getting after it together. This belly hybrid was just the beginning…

Expect plenty more jumps, more progression, and more memories from this crew. 🤙🏾💨

Deeper than skydiving. 🪂

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been humbled by the process of this thing we call life.

Sometimes, when things are going so well, we get caught up in the moment and forget to stop, look around, and truly appreciate what’s right in front of us. I never thought jumping out of planes would teach me so much about gratitude, perspective, and appreciation for life.

I haven’t been in the sky as much these past couple of weeks, but I’ve been doing a tremendous amount of thinking. And what stuck with me the most is how grateful I am—not just to be alive, but to have been blessed with the opportunity to skydive.

Where I come from, you see kids killing kids. You see the blind leading the blind. You see so much potential lost before people ever get the chance to discover who they could become.

And honestly, I never thought my life would look like this.

For the longest time, I didn’t even think jumping out of planes was real. 😂 I was just wishing on a star. 💫 Hoping. Dreaming. Imagining a life I couldn’t even see clearly yet.

Now I’m living pieces of that dream.

And that realization hits different.

Every time I step into an airplane, every time I look out over the world from thousands of feet above the ground, I’m reminded that being here is a blessing. The ability to chase a dream, to feel fear and still jump, to experience freedom, to come back down safely and do it all over again—that’s something I will never take for granted.

And to all my friends who left this world way too young… this is for you. 🌎💙

I carry your memories with me every time I look toward the sky. I think about the lives you should’ve had, the places you should’ve seen, the dreams you should’ve chased.

I’m grateful for every breath, every opportunity, every sunrise, every jump.

Because I know how easily life can be taken away.

So I’m going to keep living.
Keep dreaming.
Keep jumping.
Keep looking up. 🪂💫

Deeper than skydiving. This is about appreciating the blessing of being alive. 🌎💙🪂

There are moments in life that stop you in your tracks… and this is one of them. 🥹🪂💙

I honestly never thought in my entire life that I would come home one day and see a photo of ME in a skydiving magazine. Let that sink in. A kid who once sat around wishing on a star, dreaming about what life could be, somehow grew up to earn a skydiving license and have a photo published in a magazine. 🤯✨

This photo will forever give me a deeper sense of life—not because of the picture itself, but because of everything it represents. It represents courage. Growth. Faith. Taking a dream that once felt impossible and turning it into reality.

I was just a kid wishing on a star… and now I’m literally chasing dreams in the sky. 🌌🪂

If you have a dream in your heart, CHASE IT. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t. Don’t let fear convince you that you’re not capable. Don’t let the opinions of others become the limits of your own imagination.

Because this moment has taught me something I’ll carry with me forever: there is no limit to a dream.

And somehow, achieving one dream has only inspired me to dream even bigger. To reach higher. To believe more. To wonder, “What else is possible?” 🌎

I am beyond grateful for this journey, and especially for every phenomenal instructor at Paraclete who has crossed my path. To every instructor who taught me, challenged me, pushed me, encouraged me, and trusted me in the sky—thank you. 🙏🏽

I could not have done this without you. Without your knowledge, patience, guidance, and belief in me, this moment would not exist. I am forever grateful for every lesson and every jump.

From a kid wishing on a star… to seeing myself in a skydiving magazine.

What a life. What a blessing. What a reminder to keep dreaming. ✨

Dream it. Chase it. Believe it. And never let anyone convince you that your dream is too big. 🪂💙 by @highspeed.amari

Some losses leave you completely speechless, and losing Kendall is one of them.

This has been one of the most incredible years of my life, filled with growth, unforgettable experiences, and dreams becoming reality. I never imagined it would also bring one of the hardest goodbyes I’ve ever had to face.

Kendall, I don’t think I ever saw you without a smile on your face. Your kindness, your positivity, and the way you made everyone around you feel welcomed is something I’ll never forget. You were truly loved by so many people, and it’s easy to see why. You had a way of making every room brighter just by being yourself.

Thank you for playing such an important role in my life. You helped shape me not only as a college student trying to figure out life, but as a person. Being around you was a blessing, and your impact will stay with me forever. I’ll never forget your face, your laugh, or the example you set.

Your passing is a reminder that life is incredibly precious. Love your people, cherish every conversation, and never take a single day for granted, because tomorrow is never promised.

Blue skies forever, my friend. I hope every time I step out of an airplane, you’re watching with that same unforgettable smile. I hope my skydiving keeps you entertained until the day we meet again. Rest easy, Kendall. 🕊️💙 taken in Western North Carolina by @highspeed.amari

Happy National Skydiving Day. 🪂🤍
It’s hard to explain what this sport means to me because “it’s just skydiving” has never been the truth.
Skydiving found me at a time when I needed something to believe in. It gave me purpose when I felt lost, strength when I didn’t think I had any left, and peace in moments when my mind was anything but peaceful. It reminded me that I was capable of so much more than I ever gave myself credit for.
Some people see someone jumping out of an airplane and think it’s about chasing adrenaline. For me, it has always been about finding life.
Somewhere between the fear, the freefall, and the quiet under an open canopy, I found myself again. I found confidence. I found healing. I found a family. I found a place where I could simply exist without pretending to be anything other than who I am.
This sport has carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life. It has celebrated my happiest ones with me too. It has taught me that courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s choosing to step forward anyway.
I’ll never be able to thank this community or this sport enough for everything they’ve given me. They didn’t just change my life—they helped save it. And for that, I’ll spend the rest of my life grateful for every takeoff, every exit, every opening, every landing, and every person I’ve been lucky enough to meet along the way.
Happy National Skydiving Day to the sport that gave me so much more than a hobby. It gave me a reason to keep looking up.
Blue skies, always. 💙🪂 taken in Skydive Paraclete XP by @highspeed.amari

Deeper than Skydiving 🪂,

Some people come into your life for a season. Others become family.
Today marks the end of an incredible chapter as my brother Darvin hangs up his boots with the 82nd Airborne Division. It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant—not just for him, but for me.
What started through AFF became something much bigger than friendship. We built a brotherhood through long days, hard lessons, countless laughs, and moments that tested us in ways most people will never understand. Through every challenge, you’ve been someone I could count on, and that kind of loyalty is rare.
Your service, sacrifice, and commitment have left a mark on everyone around you, especially me. You’ve challenged me to be a better man, a better friend, and someone who never quits when things get hard. The impact you’ve had on my life will stay with me forever.
The uniform may come off, but the brotherhood never will. No matter where life takes us next, you’ll always be my brother, and I’ll always be proud to have walked part of this journey beside you.
Congratulations on this next chapter, Darvin. You’ve earned every bit of what’s ahead. Airborne all the way. ❤️🪂🇺🇸 #Brotherhood #Airborne #82ndAirborne #AFF #ForeverFamily NewBeginnings taken in Skydive Paraclete XP by @highspeed.amari
