Found an absolute treasure trove at a local used bookstore today 📚

I’m a huge YA fan, so this was an especially nostalgic day for me. I revisited a used bookstore from my childhood for the first time since high school and hit the jackpot!

I already own the 2014 Lois Duncan reprints, but I was thrilled to discover these vintage editions. Three of these books were eventually reprinted in the newer collection, while the other three never made it into those reissue. There’s just something special about finding the original editions you remember from childhood, especially while revisiting a bookstore that was part of those memories in the first place.

Six vintage Lois Duncan books for $31 total. Not a bad haul at all!

Finding my love for basketball again after nearly 20 years 🏀

Growing up, I was a huge fan of the NBA on NBC era from the mid 90s through the early 2000s. Those weekends watching basketball, following the legends of the game, and playing the sport myself created some of my favorite childhood memories.

Around 2006, I slowly fell away from basketball. I stopped playing, stopped following the league, and barely kept up with what was happening. The game that once meant so much to me became something I left behind.

Then came this incredible Knicks playoff run, and it brought everything back. The excitement, the passion, the love for the strategy and competition, it reminded me why I fell in love with basketball in the first place.

Almost 20 years later, I’m watching games again, appreciating the history of the sport, and even finding the joy of playing again. Sometimes you don’t lose a passion; you just find your way back to it. 🏀 by @highstimace

My Thoughts:

Taste: 9/10 😋
Pumps: 10/10 💪
Energy: 9.5/10 ⚡

The taste was solid, and the pumps were an easy 10/10.

The energy kicked in around the 30-minute mark, and once it hit… it HIT. I had one of those workouts where everything just clicked. I was moving heavy weight, completely locked in, had that euphoric feeling, and the music sounded even better.

One thing that really stood out was the thermogenic effect. Within 10–15 minutes I was already sweating and my body felt warmed up and ready to train.

I’ll be honest—I was skeptical about Project M. But they absolutely delivered with this collaboration alongside @highstimace . He’s not gone… just retired from the pre-workout game. 😂
