Most men never see Round 5.

The Yard Dog Doubles.

5 swings - 5 clean & press - 5 snatches - 5 front squats (double bells).

SFG1 prep and blue‑collar conditioning.

I used to be the guy who quit at round 3.
I promised myself I’d never be that guy again.
Now this is just what gets done. ⚡️

Save this for your next yard session and send it to the one friend who swears he’d survive all 5 rounds.

Drop your bracket 👇

🤦 MOST MEN — taps out before Round 3

💪 WEEKEND WARRIOR — survives 3-4 rounds

⚡ BLUE COLLAR — 5 clean rounds, no excuses

MOST MEN BAIL AT SET 2. HERE’S WHY.

Grounded Core — 5 movements, 4 sets.

Week 11 ⚡ SFG1 Prep — Cert 12/4/26

Kneeling Windmill — 8/side
Plank Pull Through — 10/side
Halo + Curl + Pullover — 8 reps
Mountain Climbers — 10/side
Tree Cutters — 8/side
4 sets. Rest as needed.

🤦 MOST MEN → Out before set 3
💪 WEEKEND WARRIOR → Finishes all 4, form falls apart
⚡️ BLUE COLLAR → 4 clean sets. No quit.

Set 2 is where I used to bail out.
Now it’s where I find out who I’m becoming.

If this exposes you today, good — now you know what to build.

Men who work all day don’t need marathon workouts. They need heavy reps that still let them show up after.

This circuit is the second part of my usual Friday kettlebell day.

I normally run a single‑bell block first and finish with this double‑28s piece.

Double bell: 28kg each
Swing ×3-5
Press ×3-5
Front squat ×3-5
Clean ×3-5

2 rounds as written in this video. If you want to use it by itself, live here for more rounds and let the bells do the work.

If your training leaves you useless for the rest of the day, you turn “hard work” into an excuse for failing everywhere else.

If it leaves you able to show up and hold your word after, you’re actually building the man you keep saying you want to be.

If your kettlebell day is just “whatever feels hard,” you’re not building strength. You’re chasing fatigue.

Week 17 Build Phase
Single bell | 28kg

Two‑arm swing × 15
Clean & press (5+5)
One‑arm swing (5+5)
Clean front squat (5+5)
Alternating swing × 20
Get‑up (1+1)
Two‑arm swing × 15
Snatch (5+5)
One‑arm swing (5+5)
2 rounds as written.

Round 1 is practice. Round 2 takes your lunch.

Run it as written. If this breaks you, good. Now you know exactly where you’re weak.

If you only snatch until it feels hard, you don’t know your volume. You just know your exit.

Most men say they “do snatch work.” Almost none stay under the bell for 15 minutes and hold their standard.

⚡️ Today’s session:
36kg Turkish get‑ups (1+1) × 3
Then 20kg snatch AMRAP for 15 minutes
No ladder. No backup bell. No early exit.

⚡️ My result today:
20 right + 20 left each round,
6 rounds in 15 minutes with 20kg.

That’s my current honest snatch volume—until I earn more.

If your form or your head quits before the clock, your problem isn’t the weight. It’s your volume.

Finish all 15 minutes at your chosen standard and you’ll know how much real snatch work your body can hold.

Fail early and you know how much of your “volume work” has been talk.

Save this for the next day you start throwing around the words “snatch work” and “snatch volume.”

Run it, write down your total reps (20+20, or whatever standard you choose), and find out whether you’ve been training your exit or your capacity.

The runna app told me to go out for an easy 2.5 miles. I said fuck that.. if I’m lacing up, I’m going sub‑30 5K.

Today’s work:
5K run
Easy day on the plan
Sub‑30 in real life

Most guys let the plan talk them into coasting. I don’t care what the app says if I know there’s still pace in my legs. The app said easy. Strava says otherwise.

Most men blame their schedule. This complex finds out if it’s really their time that’s the problem or their standard.

1 kettlebell, two‑hand only:
3 swings
3 cleans
3 presses
3 squats
6 reverse lunges (3+3)
20‑minute AMRAP

Grab the heaviest bell you can handle and hit this for 20 minutes. If your day can’t hold that, it’s not your schedule. It’s you. Save this and run it the next time you’re “short on time.”

Men love the idea of “training hard” until it’s a day their head wants to skip. This is the one that doesn’t care how you feel.

Week 17 Build Phase | Heavy Swing Day
Turkish get‑ups | (1+1) | 32KG
Single‑leg deadlift | (5+5) | 2x32KG
10‑min EMOM swings | (10+10) | 36KG

Every version of you that ever stopped early lives in a window like this. No one is watching this part but you. That’s why you’re built.

⚡️ SFG1 prep | December 4th doesn’t move.

⚡️ Save this for the days your head starts negotiating and run it exactly as written.

Day 2. Second 5K in a row.

11:30 pace. Felt hotter at 10:30 AM than it did at 3:30 yesterday. Didn’t matter.

When your mind tells you to quit, that’s when you say “fuck that, that ain’t me.”

Last year I was running 20–30 mile weeks while still training with kettlebells. I’m nowhere near that now, but these 5Ks remind me the base is still there.

I’m going to start working more running into my training, but not so much that it overrides SFG1 prep. Conditioning is there to support the cert, not replace it.

Go do the thing. Keep pushing yourself to be a better version of you, whatever that looks like in your life.

Just keep moving. That’s all. 👊

LONG SFG DOUBLE DAY – WEEK 16 FOUNDATION

Men love long circuits until round two shows up.
That’s where “I train hard” usually falls apart.

Today’s work:

Snatch block:
(5+5) x 14 sets – 24 kg

Circuit A – 2 x 24 kg:
clean + press x4
get-up (1+1)
clean + front squat x4
clean + press x4
swings x4
clean + press x4
snatch x4
clean + press x4
2 rounds

Circuit B – 2 x 24 kg:
clean + press x4
swings x4
clean + front squat x4
get-up (1+1)
clean + front squat x4
snatch x4
clean + front squat x4
2 rounds

Most guys love the idea of “big Saturday work” until the second round doesn’t go away. They’re fine as long as the volume stops where they’re comfortable. This is the kind of day that exposes whether “I train hard” is a story or a standard.

It feels damn good to be able to say “fuck it” and go run a 5K on a random Saturday afternoon when it’s 93° outside… after not running for several months.

That tells me my conditioning is still on point. Might not be the fastest, but it got done.

I stopped and walked for 1 minute at the 1.5 and 2.5 mile marks, then picked it back up and finished. Still here. Still capable. Still putting work in. #5krun #running #cardio #bluecollarlife #functionalfitness by @highvoltagestrength
