Over the course of last week, @listentoflore had me under a spell with her latest single What Does She Have, as well as her breathtaking music video and corresponding visuals. This had me in a creative frenzy which started out with the idea to make a little comic-like collage and add some of the lyrics for storytelling purposes. But since I drew all the components as transparent PNGs, I quickly realized I could add some simple animations to them. So here is the result. 🩷🖤🦷⛓️
Thank you Fløre and crew for bringing us such heartfelt pieces of art time and time again. You are very loved and appreciated and I hope you know how much good you do through your art! 🖤✨🥀

Skogsrået is the Lady of the Forest. You are in her domain. Be respectful to nature and all her creatures and you might find a place with her.

Thank it for its honesty
And leave a coin behind.

I'm out of my head
Of my heart and my mind
'Cause you can run but you can't hide

Inktober Day 10: Mystical

The forest has its ways to let you know you overstayed your welcome. Its magic works in multiple ways. Wether or not it is benevolent depends on how you treat it.

Inktober Day 9: Ram

As the second night engulfed the land the realization hit that you are being watched. It once again is apparent that nothing is as it should be. Things are... off. You can feel the forest's eyes on you.

And the forest consumed his mind. Bramble twisting his thoughts as the trees were closing in...

Inktober Day 6: Ogre

Maybe this is just how it's gonna be. Maybe I'll just have to hide this infinite ugliness so the world doesn't have to bear it. Maybe some paths aren't meant for me just by virtue of who I am.
