Hello Fès! 🫶🏼

My very first time visiting Fès, and wow what a city it is!
Almost impossible to describe, but I’ll try with a few words:

Confusing, unique, beautiful, chaotic, historic, intimidating, challenging and with such strong identity! 🤎

This is the city for those who are looking for an adventure!

The shopping in Morocco.. impossible to resist 🧡

Chefchaouen had good shopping too, I would say mostly handmade carpets and home textiles but also woven basket things, soap stuff, ceramics and other home decor.

My mission the first day was to find a new bag, big enough to hold my camera and a few other little things. But in a chill material like basket style/ wicker, and something authentic, handmade and unique.

Was not a problem to find at all, as soon as I saw this shop I was pretty convinced. So I ended up getting that striped bag that you see in my other pics from this Morocco trip. And it wasn’t even expensive at all ☺️

One tip if you’re going to Morocco, no matter what city or place you are going:
Have a plan for what you want to buy. Because if not you will end up getting an extra suitcase to take home all the stuff you got 😅

When a dream comes true, and the dream is blue 💙

I’ve dreamt of visiting Chefchaouen for many years, and it’s such a precious feeling when one day you are existing in that dream..

The Blue Pearl of Morocco was just as magical as I have envisioned, but it was even more charming than I had imagined.

5. Budget friendly:
You can find quite affordable B&Bs and cute, little places to stay. Cheaper than in the big cities and with a charming atmosphere.

6. The Rif Mountains:
The city is nestled right into beautiful mountains, giving you incredible views and great hiking opportunities nearby.

Morocco, my second home! ❤️🇲🇦

So happy to be back, and super excited to start this adventure in Chefchaouen!

It’s been my dream to go to this magical town north in the country for a long time. I saw a picture once, must have been 15- 20 years ago, and I immediately knew I had to go there.

And I never forgot, everyone that knows me have heard me talk about that blue Moroccon town that I really wanted to visit. And finally the time was right.

I’ve seen a bit around in Morocco now, after visiting quite a few times. And it’s an extraordinarily diverse and beautiful country, that I need to see more of. But I can say so far; Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen ☺️

Will share much more with you from this amazing travel, and from Chefchaoen and the other places we visited (travelled around and saw so much!).

My camera roll is full of wonderful moments, but for now here’s a little taste from «The Blue Pearl».

When you finally reach Lanzarote’s most beautiful beach after hours of walking, and then the rain breaks out..

Unlucky? I think not. Cause I got the whole place to myself.

Actually I like to think it was the universe that gave me a gift.

A gift of magical water drops falling from the sky with little pieces of golden hour sun lights in them. While the only sound in the world was the waves rolling towards the sand.

And look at this spectacular landscape.. Shaped by volcanoes, the deep powers of Mama Earth herself.

Sometimes things don’t go the way we expect because the universe has different plans. And the universe keeps proving to me that it knows best, so I like to just let it do it’s magic.

The pure joy and gratefulness I feel when I get to see our beautiful world makes everything make sense 🧡
