So honored to have Congresswoman @repbeatty as our Keynote speaker. Not only was it a full circle moment for me, as her office is where my political career took off, but for her to honor me on her special night in front of my colleagues was priceless. As tired as I was with planning this event with my team, that moment made it worth it! #goodtrouble #vote #georgiapolitics #politics #ohio by @hilerielind_

I love giving back! I recently supported the Collective Votes Block Party hosted by Griot Collective, and it was wonderful to see so much support for this community event. Shout-out to @hilerielind_ & Rep. @derrickjackson for putting together this amazing event!

Oh! And the world is toooo small... One of the Ques in this photo was a line brother in 95 with my cousin at TSU. #tammib #thassawoman #VotersBlockParty #GriotCollective #CommunitySupport taken in The King Center by @hilerielind_

On October 4th, we showed up on Auburn Avenue.
The day before Georgia’s voter registration deadline, we brought the community, the coalition, and the culture together at The King Center. And what happened on those steps was something I will carry with me.
We registered voters, told our stories for the Library of Congress, an heard from some of the most powerful civic voices in Georgia. And we did it all together.
This is what the Griot Collective Community Foundation was built for. Not just events or programming, but Infrastructure, Power, and Legacy.
To every partner, every speaker, every soror, every brother, every volunteer, every community member who showed up, thank you.
The work is not done, it is just beginning.
