We all tend to think play is just an auxiliary, a luxury we get to have if we have time but truth is everything creative flows from it. Rest and creativity go hand in hand and we are able to show up more fully us in that place of joy, rest and enjoyment 🙌 by @hillaryboone_

#art #prophetic #veteran #healing I had a hard week if I’m honest and didn’t feel like I could accomplish anything. I don’t say that to gain compliments but to normalize we all deal with bouts of hard times. Internal, externally. However, it’s what and where we go with those hard times. Run towards the loving Father who’s love is more abundant for you than you can ever realize 🫶 by @hillaryboone_

Just got back from a solo camping trip to Big Sur and processing so much… brushing off the cobwebs and jumping back in slowly. Ps if you’re not sure what a color study is, it’s a small, loose painting trying out colors and light, basically practicing before painting a bigger one. I didn’t add detail or anything, just playing around with ideas. I probably will make a few more before creating a bigger piece so I can figure out exactly the direction I want to go. by @hillaryboone_
