Just two days short of a month ago, we took the stage for our Spring Concert — and we’re still thinking about how incredible that night was. 🎶✨ From the music to the memories, it was such a fun and successful evening, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came along for the journey and supported our chorus department every step of the way. 💙

The Hillside Drama Department is excited to announce that our auditions for "Seussical The Musical" will take place on January 26th & 27th, 2026, from 4:30pm to 9:00 pm in Room 127 each day!

👥 All Hillside students, and DPS students in early college programs (JDC Early College, City of Medicine Academy, Durham Early College of Health Science, and Durham School of Technology) are welcome to audition!

📝 For your audition, please prepare one song selection (preferably not a nursery rhyme, the ABC's, or Happy Birthday), wear comfortable clothing that you can move in for dance, and get ready to do some improvisational acting!

🔍 In the next few days, please be on the lookout for a post that details all of the available characters to audition for!

And again, just like that, @hillside_hs second annual Trick-or-STING Chorus Concert has been wrapped up!

And once again, thank you to everyone involved in this process for making it the magical night that it was! And a very special thank you to @the_devynair with @centuryfx_studios for capturing our special night and to @hhsdanceco under the direction of @chinflooculturalarts for making our Monster Mashup, “Thriller,” and “Grim Grinning Ghosts” such a spooky delight!

The students put such hard work into this performance and Ms. Scott is so proud of them. GO HORNETS!!
