I preordered Discounty and have been (not so) patiently waiting to play! Everything I’ve heard about this game sounds so good!😊

Discounty is a shop-management game in which you do your best to manage and expand your business, while also navigating your relationships with the townspeople.

Thank goodness is is Friday! I hope you all had a great week!🤍

I tried out Homwtown Story for the 3DS…. I’ll probably pick it up again, but the controls were a little clunky for my tastes. I’m just not the type of person to grind through a game I’m not fully enjoying…🙊 So I’ve been playing some other games, and I’ll give it another go in the future!

I decided to get a little creative today and decorate some of my DSes✨ I’m not super artistic or creative, so they’re a little rough, but I still love how they turned out!🤍 It’s also so nice that it’s not adhesive, so I can change up the style whenever I want☺️

Hi friends!😊

One thing I’ve really gotten into this summer is collecting! Of course, I’ve always been excited to walk into a GameStop and find a game I always wanted to play, but this is the first time I feel like I’m really diving in and hunting for specific items. I started with Switch games, but I find so much more joy in searching for DS and 3DS games!😊

Hey y’all! 👋🤍

It sure has been awhile😅 So sorry for my absence! My life has been a little chaotic recently with planning a wedding, marrying my favorite person, switching jobs, moving back to another state!

Life has kept me pretty busy this recently but I’m excited to be back to posting!🤍 Recently I completed a playthrough of Pokemon Scarlet on the Switch 2! This game really is such a different experience compared to playing it on the original Switch. My favorite person has also been playing Violet for the first time, and it’s been so fun to watch him explore Paldea!

Wildermyth🦌

I had never heard of this game before seeing it on sale at a Target. After a little bit of contemplation, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did!☺️

Wildermyth is a turn-based, tactical RPG where your choices matter. Lead your heroes as they defend their lands from evil forces. With procedurally-generated characters driving the story, each playthrough is unique as each character may respond differently to the random scenarios that pop up!

Though I had my reservations about the procedurally-generated characters, I really did find myself getting attached to my heroes. I watched them fall in love, have children who also became playable characters, go through transformations, discover new paths, and even sacrifice themselves for one another🤍 On top of that, this game is utterly gorgeous!✨

While I encountered a few bugs during my play-through, none of them were bad enough to deter me from playing. There is so much more I could say about this game and its mechanics, but you should definitely look into it if it sounds like a game you’d enjoy!☺️

Oh! The physical copy also came with the “Monster Compendium” that provides some information on the monsters the characters might face during the story. I adore when developers include little booklets like this!✨

Happy Friday!😊

I completely forgot about Dinkum’s 1.0 release until a YouTube suggested a video about it to me😅 I haven’t picked up this game in so long, and now I’ve logged quite a few more hours in it trying to design my island🤍🌴
