Today, we closed our doors. The doors that welcomed guests every day for 63 unforgettable years. Today, we checked out our last guest, served our final breakfast, and held one last moment in the spaces that have welcomed hearts from all over the world.

But this is not goodbye. It is simply… a promise to meet again. See you soon, à bientôt, hasta pronto, arrivederci a presto, bis bald, tot ziens, até breve, до зустрічі, またね, 곧 봐요, 再见.

To you, our dear Guest, we will be waiting—our hearts full of memories, our doors ready to open once more. The iconic Hilton Amsterdam will return, renewed and reimagined, carrying forward the spirit of timeless hospitality you have known and loved.

Until we meet again, with gratitude and warmth,

If we could travel back in time, we’d visit Hilton Amsterdam in the 1970s, when elegance and warmth filled every corner. They say true hospitality is timeless — iconic then, iconic now ✨ 💙

Earlier this week, we celebrated far more than a milestone — we celebrated a story that has lived for over sixty years within the walls of Hilton Amsterdam. A story made of people, passion, and timeless memories.

With heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Erwin Verhoog, Vice President Operations Continental Europe, for his inspiring presence, and to Her Royal Highness Princess Margarita de Bourbon de Parme, whose grace and connection to our history made the evening truly unforgettable.

To all our guests, partners, and former team members, thank you for standing with us as we honored our past and looked toward a new dawn. You are the heart of this legacy.

As we close our doors for transformation, we carry forward every memory, every smile, and every story shared within these walls — ready to welcome the world back, renewed, reimagined, and forever inspired.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s the beautiful beginning of our next chapter. 💙 taken in Hilton Amsterdam by @hiltonamsterdam

Begin your culinary journey with a choice of distinguished starters: the rustic warmth of Tuscan Ribollita, crafted with seasonal vegetables and cannellini beans, or the refined balance of seared scallops accompanied by Friarielli broccoli, chestnuts, and a mandarin reduction. Which will you choose to commence your experience at @robertosamsterdam? 🤔
