‎Why toddlers can’t focus for long”
‎A child under 3 is not supposed to sit still for hours.
‎Their brains learn through movement, touch, repetition, and exploration.
‎But when children are constantly exposed to fast stimulation, it can become harder for them to slow down and focus.
‎The goal is not to force stillness. The goal is to gradually build attention through simple daily habits.

‎‎I've never told this story publicly before 💙
‎My first week teaching felt like a mistake. I was overwhelmed. I wasn't sure I was cut out for this.
‎Then I met Sophia
‎Four years old. Barely speaking. Pressed against the wall every morning while the other children played. Everyone called it shyness. My gut said something different.
‎So I did the simplest thing I knew: I sat next to her. Every day. No pressure. No agenda. Just presence.
‎Two weeks later, she handed me a block.
‎Four weeks later, she said my name.
‎Two months later, she was leading circle time.
‎I realized that day that THIS was my calling — not just teaching, but seeing children. Truly seeing them.
