The Sound Must Go On.

TW: MEDICAL TRAUMA

.

In November 2020, I was rushed to the hospital for abdominal pain and I was highlighter yellow. I was left with gallstones and emergency surgery happened 5 days too late. While my gallbladder was removed, a stone was lodged in the bile duct, making bile splash back into my pancreas. In February 2021, I received the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis.

What followed after would see me almost lose my life. In between infections, lengthy hospital stays, and another surgery where pain relief was not given.

Fast forward to 2026. I am here. I am standing. And dammit, the show must go on.

Thank you all for standing by me for all these years.

Love, Gavin

Tomorrow night! It's free entry, the drinks are always amazing (even the non alcoholic ones; take it from this non alcohol king!), and the food?! To die for!
And you get to see an amazing show filled with amazing people! You don't want to miss this! by @himbojoneslv

This Saturday! Come see these wonderful burlesque performers (and this guy, I guess :p) shake their stuff! Or you know, make you cry. Whatever you wanna do, I won't judge.
