Yes we are made righteous through Christ alone, but repentance is still a necessary part of salvation. 1 John 3 talks much about the fact that we cant walk in sin (by will) and still be born again, (1John3:6) which is required to enter the Kingdom of heaven (John 3:3). The Holy Spirit living and working within us (not simply around us) is our mark of salvation, but the first name of the Holy Spirit is “Holy” - in which we are called to be. We are saved by grace through faith alone, but it is also the fruit of our lives which shows the genuineness of our salvation - examine yourself. Are you truly living for Christ, or for the world too ? - bc u cant do both by @himhimothyhimself

If we say that we love God and still live dishonoring Him with the same very mouth; we live as both hypocritical and lukewarm Christians in doing so (Titus 1:16). Controlling the tongue (spoken about in James 3) is a lot more than just cussing as well. From how we treat others in gentleness, to cussing, to using Gods holy name in vain (so common its even abbreviated to “omg”), to our “white lies”, to gossip, etc, we need to be able to control our tongue if we claim to be in Christ; for the tongue has the power to control the whole body. by @himhimothyhimself

let Christ be the example, not the world. Stand firm on Him and don’t compromise your convictions from Him for the point of convenience in this life by @himhimothyhimself

#christianity Simply put; if Christianity weren’t true, I wouldn’t be a Christian. If the claims of Christianity are infact not true, then our faith is futile and hope is in vain and our lives gone to waste (1 Corinthians 15:17-19). However if its claims are infact true, then nothing else can have even an ounce of importance as the Truth of Christ; we cant treat it as any less than so. by @himhimothyhimself

#christian We know that God is good, holy, and perfect; we dont need to doubt Him nor His faithfulness. it does come down to, however, in how faithful WE are to Him, and can He really trust us as His “good and faithful servants”? by @himhimothyhimself
