Great to hear from @tim_farron about being “election ready” at the @mertonlibdems annual fundraising dinner. #LibDems #London by @hinabokharild

Great to catch up with Andrew Burton at City Hall today. He is the director of highway and regulatory services for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and so he is the perfect person to tell me what is happening with the Albert bridge! #albertbridge #kensingtonandchelsea by @hinabokharild

It’s #IslamophobiaAwarenessMonth. A couple of years ago I said I wanted to stop talking about it. But sadly, things have not improved and until #islamophobia is eradicated - I have to keep talking about it.

This year’s theme is: “Don’t Let It Slide”. Focussing on everyday responsibility, courage, action, and preventing the normalization of discrimination.

Thank you to all the allies who support my work on tackling this racism. Together we can end #islamophobia for good. #IAM2026 #Dontletitslide by @hinabokharild

I am not a massive #Trekkie but I did love the #NextGeneration.

My brother and I watched every episode and loved the development of each of the characters and storylines. It gave me so much hope for the future.

When my dad received his OBE in 2001 he noticed Patrick Stewart in the line and said my kids will be more excited about you getting an OBE than me getting one! And in a funny way we were. Seeing Captain Picard was the best bit of the day my brother and I joked. So glad my dad introduced us and that Patrick was happy to take a photo with some fans on such a special day for him and his family. What a generous man! #RIP #PatrickStewart by @hinabokharild

Aloo gosht … mum’s best curry, made in her kitchen, with her spices. Nothing beats it! #homecooking #homemade #madewithlove❤️ by @hinabokharild

The @londonlibdems have long supported the pedestrianisation of #OxfordStreet - in fact in was an idea proposed by the LibDem Mayoral Candidate Simon Hughes. But like all good ideas, it needs to work for everyone. This is just the beginning and we want to see all communities being able to access the street, especially disabled Londoners. by @hinabokharild

Honoured to be at the launch of a wonderful mural at Park Royal Station that was the result of hardworking @ealinglibdems councillors who found out about TfL funding. Their determination has brought OPDC, the local hotel and others together to bring this amazing project to fruition. #Ealing #London #localart #localpolitics #libdems by @hinabokharild

London has the highest rate of youth unemployment in the country - yet some parties want to punish young people who can't get a job instead of giving them the help and opportunities they need. by @hinabokharild

"Londoners deserve to live in this city - not just the lucky ones or the rich ones, but every Londoner" says Lib Dem Assembly Member @hinabokharild We have a housing emergency in London and if we can't solve it, London will become a childless city. Families can't afford to live here and are fleeing the capital. We've got to make sure the Mayor pushes for the development of family housing here. #familyhome #housingcrisis by @hinabokharild

While we have Thames Water in charge of London's water, pumping sewage into our rivers, nobody can feel confident that swimming is safe says our Assembly Member Gareth Roberts. #thameswater #sewage #richmond #thames by @hinabokharild

London councils are facing an unprecedented assault on their funding from central government. Nearly half of London councils could go bankrupt by 2028. At People's Question Time last night, Assembly Member Gareth Roberts expressed his deep concerns about the funding cuts ahead - asking audience members to write to the government and ask them to change course. #fairfunding #localgovernment #youthclubs #london by @hinabokharild
