Tula Two planes sit in quiet tension over a grounded frame. A continuous gap runs between them, defining both separation and alignment. Formed in walnut, the work retains knots and imperfections, allowing the material to remain present. by @hinko.design

Koi is made from thin kyogi timber, diffusing light through layered, breathable wood. The form draws from the quiet opening of a lily, creating a soft, warm glow that shifts with each overlapping surface. Kyogi (Japanese timber shave), Aluminium by @hinko.design

Nîmes, 2024 This work reimagines denim as structure. Reclaimed jeans, collected by After, are compressed and reformed into the table’s base, carrying traces of labour, wear, and time. The stainless steel top sits in deliberate contrast. Its precision reflects the industrial processes behind denim production, while stabilising and framing the softer, irregular mass below. Together, the materials propose a shift in value. What is worn, used, and discarded is not lost, but reconstituted into something enduring, where each fibre holds a history. Material Reclaimed denim, stainless steel, PVC Commissioned by @after_anz by @hinko.design
