Ran around the shore with @avwqt76 yesterday. Hit some spring spots but couldn’t hook up. Saw lots of bait and watched a Seal and Loon doing much better than me. Wind was cranking and it made my ear ring crazy which took the wind out of my sails. We ended up at Sam’s Pizza then cruised OD back to Sea Isle then home. Lapland Longspur. Tough little bird that breeds in the high Arctic Tundra. I asked Amy what was on the guard rail. She looked in her monocular and said take a picture…its something different. Pretty cool. by @hip_fish

Up at @dreamcatcher_lodge_depositny on the Delaware with Jim and fam. We fished yesterday afternoon. Tough tough tough. Decided to head out in the rain today and fished about 2 hours. Nada. Both days we had scattered BWOs. Saw VERY FEW fish rising. The lodge is awesome…the river is beautiful…and the fall colors are popping. Cant be disappointed having a weekend up here. This calendar to take notes on is what I need to keep track of pond and aquarium maintenance, water treatments, feed schedules, animal weights, etc. 7 Aquariums, 4 snakes, and a tortoise. Oh yeah…bird feeders🐦‍⬛ @dom_allonardo1 gets to feed everything when I am away. Not too bad as long as your maintenance systems are dialed in. by @hip_fish

Birdies. I THINK the Swamp Sparrow is a lifer. I dont keep a list. Saw a ton of Yellow Rumped Warblers, Ruby and Gold Crowned Kilnglets, Eastern Phoebes, and a bunch of normal stuff. Lighting was tough where most of the Kinglets were hanging. Those crowns are so cool. Did see Avocets but too far for a good shot. by @hip_fish
