Everybody has an opinion, but that’s much different than having experience. Be intentional about whose advice you listen to. Sometimes, you gotta trust your own judgment.

Everybody has something to say about what you should do, how you should do it, and what they would’ve done differently. But here’s the thing: it’s easy to tell somebody how to do something when you’ve never had to do it yourself.

People wanna tell you how to pursue your dreams without ever taking a chance on theirs. They’ll criticize your decisions without understanding the responsibilities, challenges, or sacrifices you’ve had to make.

Remember, it’s way easier to criticize than to create. Just keep going. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

A lot y’all l talking about JAY-Z choosing himself for the Super Bowl, but there’s something you can learn from him: Choose yourself.

God made each of us one of one. You spend so much time comparing yourself to other people that you forget what makes you different. Somewhere along the way, you start spending so much time waiting for permission. Waiting for somebody to recognize your talent, waiting for somebody to give you an opportunity, waiting for somebody to tell you you’re qualified, ready, or deserving.

You know what you’ve been through. You know the work you’ve put in. You know the sacrifices you’ve made and the value you bring. So why should somebody else have to recognize all of that before you recognize it yourself?

Choosing yourself isn’t about thinking you’re better than everybody else. It’s about refusing to overlook yourself while waiting for somebody else’s approval.

Fam, when was the last time you chose yourself? Choose you. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

Remind yourself that you’re good enough. At some point, most of us have asked ourselves some variation of this: Am I talented enough? Am I good enough? Am I qualified enough? Do I belong here?

All I want you to say to yourself in response to those thoughts is, “Yes.” I believe you do. You don’t need an explanation, a list of accomplishments, or outside validation. You just need to know for yourself that you’re enough.

You may find yourself depending on someone else’s approval, but the reality is, you need to validate yourself. Saying you’re good enough doesn’t mean you can’t improve. You can believe you’re enough and still want to become better.

Sometimes, you just gotta remind yourself. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

You gotta give yourself permission to FEEL what you’re going through, but don’t allow what you’re going through to stop you.

Crying doesn’t make you weak. Being frustrated doesn’t mean you’re failing. Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you can’t handle things. You can have a hard moment without giving up.

Being strong doesn’t mean holding everything in. You can be disappointed. You can be tired. You can admit that something hurts. Just keep going.

Don’t give up on yourself cause things get hard, fam. Don’t confuse struggle with failure, and don’t let a bad moment lead to a permanent decision. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

Fear can be a good thing. We all have it in us. What matters is what you do with it. There’s a difference between fear that protects you and fear that limits you.

Protective fear does a lot of things, but ultimately it wants to keep you safe, it’s tells you when to pay attention. Then there’s the other kinda fear, the fear of failure, rejection, embarrassment, uncertainty, or doing something you’ve never done before. That kinda fear paralyzes you, even though you’re capable of moving forward.

Here’s what I want you to do Fam, learn to recognize which kinda fear you’re feeling. As I said earlier, fear can protect you. Sometimes it’s wisdom. it makes you cautious and keeps you from taking unnecessary risks. That other fear can become a cage. Sometimes nothing dangerous is happening, you’re just uncomfortable. Hey, sometimes it’s just the fear of starting.

When you continue choosing comfort because of fear, eventually fear starts making decisions for you. Fear has a purpose, but its purpose isn’t to run your life. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

Thank God for another Birthday. 🎈🦁 I’m so thankful. I am grateful that God saw fit that I wake up again today. I can talk about my year and rattle off a list of accomplishments, but my existence has more value than anything I’ve accomplished.

My self-worth is not attached to my accomplishments or the stuff I have. My value is in who I am, it’s in my character. It’s in how I treat people. I was born with potential, but I’m still developing it. I was given gifts that need to be used everyday. My purpose needs to be pursued relentlessly. My impact is being made with every person I come in contact with and every place I enter. God has given me favor, and I work hard not to misuse it.

My birth started my story, but how I choose to live that story is what allows me to leave my mark on history. With all that said, there’s one thing I want you to know on my birthday: YOU being here, means something too. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

Are you leading the life you wanna teach?

Whether you realize it or not, somebody is always watching you, your family, your friends, your co-workers, even people you don’t realize are paying attention. Ask yourself, what do you want them to see?

This is the thing, fam: people hear your words, but they watch your actions. This isn’t about being perfect or pretending to have it all together. It’s understanding that your actions carry way more weight than your words.

Do your words match your character? It’s not about telling people what to do, it’s about showing ‘em what’s possible. Remember, your life is teaching a lesson every single day. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨

You’re responsible for how you treat yourself. Sometimes, the way you treat yourself, is the way you show people how to treat you. Many of us go above and beyond for other people. We’re the strong friend. We’re patient, gentle, caring, and concerned. Thing is, we don’t give ourselves that same courtesy.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Life is already hard enough. Give yourself grace, the same grace you so freely give others. Be patient with yourself, and love yourself like you love other people. Think about the conversations you have with yourself. Would you say those things to someone you love? Speak to yourself differently.

Here’s my challenge to you, and it’s simple: think about yourself, the same way you think about the people you love. Don’t just want what’s best for others, want what’s best for yourself too. Don’t let yourself quit on you. Now, #YouGoBeGreat! ✨
