I’ve been waiting for this one. We’ve used Live Brew on our Samantha in the shop for years, and now it’s finally on Hikaru. The updated app lets me adjust the flow and timing of each pour as I brew, then save the whole process as a recipe to come back to. Here’s a first test. A few pours, a few adjustments, and plenty more coffees to explore. Music: GOH (Goh Kurosawa) - Flow 04 Ta-ri-ra-ran taken in Los Angeles, California by @hiroia_official

Throughout the 2026 Global Coffee Awards, Hiroia (@hiroia_official) has been by our side as an Official Equipment Partner, supporting the filter coffees preparation in our competitions across Asia, Africa, US & Canada, and LATAM. Across each competition, Hiroia’s brewing technology has helped us create a more consistent and repeatable brewing environment for our judges. Precise control over temperature, water flow and brew volume helps keep the brewing variables consistent, so our judges can focus on what’s actually in the cup. And now, we’re bringing that partnership to Europe. 🇪🇺 Hiroia will be joining us for the 2026 Global Coffee Awards Europe, continuing to support our judges and producers as we evaluate coffees from across the region. We’ve seen firsthand how consistency in brewing can make a difference in a competition, and we’re excited to have Hiroia with us for the next chapter of the 2026 Awards. A closer look at the Hiroia Hikaru V60 in action during the Global Coffee Awards. 👀 Thank you, Hiroia, for being part of the 2026 Global Coffee Awards journey. #GlobalCoffeeAwards #Hiroia #CoffeeEquipment by @hiroia_official

This is the biggest update to the Hikaru. So for those of you who owns a Hiroia Hikaru Automated Pour-Over Machine, this is just the beginning! Update notes: • Firmware update on the machine • Firmware update on the app • Exciting new features like Live Brew, Brew Sequence and Cold Brew • Brand new UI And there's so much more that I can't disclose yet. The demo in this video is limited special access that Hiroia gave me during the last phase of development of the update and we're very lucky because of that! Thank you so much Hiroia for the early access, I can't wait for the final version :) by @hiroia_official

The biggest update yet for the @hiroia_official Hikaru is finally here, and this is just the beginning! Brewing with the Sudan Rume from @inmaculadacoffeefarms (Colombia) today, roasted by @terroir.laboratory @brewboyy , using the Live Brew feature. Just grind your coffee and set up your dripper and server @orea.uk —the machine handles the water heating, while you take full control of the rest right at your fingertips on apps. Start, stop, and dial in your water flow rate anywhere from level 1 to 10 effortlessly. Plus, you can easily save your favorite recipes and edit them anytime for your next brew! Update Highlights: ▪️Brand new firmware for both machine and app ▪️Exciting new features: Live Brew, Brew Sequence, and Cold Brew ▪️Completely redesigned UI There's so much more coming that I can't disclose yet. Huge thanks to Hiroia for the special early access during the final development phase! #hiroia #hiroiahikaru #newupdate #pourovercoffee #filtercoffee taken in Bangkok, Thailand by @hiroia_official

. . #coffeelovers #barista #bartender #cafedeespecialidad #baristalife by @hiroia_official

Girls just wanna have fun 🪩☕️ Yes, I did make a pink disco ball just for brewing coffee. And honestly, I think it was a very reasonable decision. 💅🏼 Starting the day with my coffee brewed with Hikaru, and adding a little Hilelmade touch with my very own dripper. ✨ A little pink, a little sparkle, a lot of fun. 🪩 Now I kind of get why Hikaru is so popular in cafés, hotels and restaurants. It really does make brewing coffee feel like a whole different experience. And I think paired with my disco ball dripper, they make quite a fun little duo. ☕️🪩 I guess I didn’t brew my coffee today… I brewed my mood. 💅🏼🪩 @hiroia_official ❤️ #ad #prgift #Hiroia #HiroiaHikaru #reklam taken in Lotus Seramik by @hiroia_official
