✸ Nov-Dec ‘25: ✸
✦ breaking in my new notebook in the best possible journaling spot (at the beach near my dad’s place)
✦ my dad’s Christmas tree - every single ornament is a found object (things he picked up off the beach and attached ornament hooks to) so clearly I get my passion for art & for caring for the environment from him lol
✦ Amaka & Ryan signing the guest book at Marco & Nicole’s wedding! I love love & I love my friends!
✦ at the same wedding Lou wrote the name of our longstanding group chat on a provided locket and fastened it to this big metal heart. Marco’s Lemon’s forever!
✦ in early nov me & Zain went to a Beth’s show! Hearing expert in a dying field live healed something in me I think
✦ mending workshop hosted by Rachel and Haewon! got to re-do an older patch on this very old dress so that’s it’s still perfectly wearable!
✦ made like 3 apple galettes this year - one for family thanksgiving on the actual holiday, one for friendsgiving, and one for our office thanksgiving potluck
✦ you know I be bringing the knitting wip to the art market (dallas paper party, nov ‘25!)
✦ at said office potluck, Andor season 2 on the big screen as god intended
✦ a cute & colorful corner of my desk at work (the post it notes are the Eisenhower matrix prioritization system I rely on when I feel that task paralysis coming
✦ collaging a vision board for 2026 at a riso printer / tattoo studio on nye with friends new & old? yes please! by @hisamlopez

✱ a sunny Sunday afternoon spent journaling about my weekend & about what I want to sew with that gorgeous green fabric
✱ a bag I sewed as part of a pattern test for @klumhouse . a pattern test is where you sew through an unreleased pattern to help the designer make sure everything sews up as intended! so it was an honor to get chosen to help Ellie & her team in this way.
✱ more Colby Jack, what can I say? he’s simply the cutest
✱ celebrated Ryann’s 27th birthday as god intended: with a screening of Pride and Prejudice and a themed cake
✱ sometimes one of my coworkers will randomly walk into my cubicle and hand me a little treat and it always makes me feel so 🥺
✱ Matt and his birthday gift from our friend group. it’s true what they say about your late 20s - suddenly a power washer is the best thing imaginable
✱ “live, laugh, love, lie down” - ancient dysautonomia saying 🥲
✱ working on a bag I definitely will not have done anytime soon but at least the color combos I chose are 🔥
✱ a bird and jerry (of tom and jerry fame) attempt to break up a bag of ice at our halloween party
✱ my girls (who are going to be okay!)
✱ new notepads, the only thing manufactured thing I managed to get sorted in time for an upcoming market (handmade things you know I had covered, though)
✱ my pumpkin (lost the office pumpkin decorating content but still is a winner in my heart)
✱ yeah. yeah!!!! by @hisamlopez

- colby jack 🥰
- visiting my aunt & saying goodbye
- in my natural habitat: in front of a wall of sewing patterns
- a meme redraw i did like 2 years ago that is more and more relevant every day by @hisamlopez

A very belated Camp Workroom Social ‘23 photo dump! I had so much fun attending this sewing retreat in the Catskills in New York State for the second year in a row, thanks so much to @workroomsocial for all the hard work you do organizing such an awesome event, and to everybody who attended alongside me for being so friendly, kind, & welcoming! by @hisamlopez
