You know what I love most about what I do? I get to meet some of the kindest women ever, a lot of us are like minded. Most of all, you all treat me like family and for that I am grateful.

I have made some of the best connections over the past 6.5 years…. 6.5 years!!!!

Thank you again for keeping me in business, trusting me, showing up on time, believing in my craft, treating me like a daughter but most of all allowing me to grow with you both professionally and as a friend.

My studio is my happy place and I love sharing it with you all. Now let’s upgrade it 😏 @herdy1021 by @hisnherdys

I will still be your lash girl of course but I wanted to separate the permanent makeup from my current business and this was the perfect way to do it!

Permanent jewlery is claspless jewlery that can withstand the test of time. Now now ladies, that doesn’t mean it can’t break. It’s still a dainty piece of medal. We will be doing pop up events at local boutiques, salons, med spas, community days, you name it we are there!

The booking link is not live just yet so bare with us as we slowly roll this out but if it’s something you think you’d be interested in hosting or doing shoot me a dm either here or at @inked.n.linked and we’ll get back with you.

Notice how I said “we” the herdman team is back. Just not behind the bar like the old days 😂 this time we’re serving up class.

My husband and I both are trained in this technique so we will both be attending large parties. For parties or events that only have 4-5 it will just be me your local lash gal. 😏

Falling in love with taking care of my body, one workout at a time, one walk at a time, one day at a time.

Day 6 of moving my body for 400 days straight. Belly chain and all. 🫡 by @hisnherdys

It’s not goodbye, it’s we’ll see you later but that later is unknown to us.

Nothing can prepare you or your kids for this, nothing. Watching my kids say goodbye was one of the hardest moments of my life so far. They didn’t ask for this but one day they’ll understand it and understand why we have cherished every moment and make the sacrifices we do. They’ll look up to bleachers in seek of their dad, miss birthdays, holidays, family dinners even just the regular day to day bedtime they’ll miss with him. They’ll see life through FaceTime which is not the same, yes it’s more than some had at one point but it’s just not the same as having your person. My ask to you is through this time be a good friend, not only to myself but to our kids. They’re still so young they don’t know how to process their emotions. Teach your kids why it’s important to be kind to one another because you truly have no idea what someone is going through behind closed doors. This year they’ll remember who showed up for them, who made life feel somewhat normal even though it won’t feel like it at all. Life will continue for us at home but for Chris, it stops. It takes a selfless and courageous person to do what he’s doing and I commend him even if it means my life will be hard at home. Pray for not only our family but for all the brave families and soldiers that protect our country.

One day at a time 💔🤍💙
Home was never a place, but a feeling and i we won’t feel it again until he returns home, safe. 🥹

I am so grateful for the clients this week that cry with me and have been so thoughtful. 🥺 by @hisnherdys

Find your peace OR find the place that gives you the most peace. For me? It’s the trail. During the summer months I walk it with my kids, school year? Mornings, ALWAYS! The trail has given me so much peace. Peace in just knowing that learning to be by yourself is okay and you need to learn how to be with yourself, once you master this, rooms full of people will feel easy to overcome. I’ve always been outgoing but I needed to find a place that was just for me to get my head straight for the day. Find your peace place 🥺 by @hisnherdys

IF NOTHING CHANGES, NOTHING CHANGES.

I made a promise to myself that at this time next year I will be the strongest and fittest of my life. Preparing myself emotionally and physically for my husband’s deployment and in true Angie fashion… I’m starting another business. This is just how I deal with it personally. I am VERY independent but this is a different kind of independent when someone has to be gone for a year. I decided to pivot. Put all my anger and emotions into becoming a better version of myself and also making myself entirely more busy. 😂 I can’t share all the details yet but it’s something that I know nothing about (much like lashes when I first started) and has nothing to do with the beauty industry. Stay tuned for its launch in August 😉🏌️‍♀️
