Support Herencia Hispana during the Tin Cup Challenge!

Herencia Hispana: Dancing with Pride, Building Community
At the heart of HRC’s cultural programming is our vibrant Herencia Hispana Dance Group — a space where tradition, creativity, and youth leadership come together in every step.

For many of our dancers, performing isn’t just about movement. It’s about memory. It’s about identity. It’s about belonging.

From local festivals to school assemblies, the group has brought color and joy to countless stages across the Teton Valley. Their swirling skirts, rhythmic footwork, and smiling faces tell a powerful story: culture is alive, and it’s something to be proud of.

And behind every performance is hard work — rehearsals, costumes, transportation, parent volunteers, and community support. Programs like Herencia Hispana thrive because people like you believe in the power of culture and connection.

Why your gift matters
Herencia Hispana isn’t just a dance group — it’s a community within a community. It gives youth a safe, joyful space to explore their roots, grow in confidence, and shine proudly in public.

One dancer recently shared:

“I love performing with my sister and seeing the smiles in the crowd!”

Moments like these are what HRC is all about — giving our mariposas the space to grow and take flight.

Did you know that we at the Hispanic Resource Center are here to provide key human services to the community?

We just had a great weekend hosting the Mexican Consulate in Driggs. Hundreds of people in need of services came out to this event. Families who aren’t able to get to Boise for an appointment were able to do so locally, giving them access to identification documents they need, for everything from opening a simple bank account, to applying for legal status for themselves and their children.

We were also able to help provide education and resources while families waited in line. Thank you to our partners and volunteers who showed up in service to the community!
