Closing a Chapter 🥊

At the end of this month, I’ll be wrapping up the boxing coaching sessions I’ve been running for the past 5 years. It’s not a decision I’ve made lightly, but it’s one I’ve made with a clear heart.

Coaching has given me so much — purpose, community, and the chance to help others grow stronger mentally and physically. But behind the scenes, balancing coaching with other responsibilities has taken a toll on both my body and mind. I’ve found myself constantly juggling priorities, making choices I haven’t been proud of, and watching my mood, mental health and energy suffer.

I’m 28 now. I know I don’t have endless time left when it comes to pursuing an athletic career — and I don’t want to look back wondering “what if?” So I’ve made the decision to give myself one last real shot in the ring. One more run, while I still can.

Thank you to everyone who’s trained with me, supported me, and trusted me over the years. Coaching will always be part of who I am, but for now it’s time to focus on myself again.

Much love and respect to everyone’s who’s joined me ❤️👊 by @hitandrunboxercise

• Notice how in this sequence, Canelo has thrown a barrage of punches to his opponents head time and time again.

• Expecting another assault to the head, the opponent pulls his elbow away from his ribs and protecting his head from any incoming hooks leaving his liver exposed.

These few slides will introduce some good habits and cut out bad ones which will inevitably help with your boxing.

The last slide shows former world champion Andre Ward manoeuvring his way around the bag with correct form.

I thought I would make a basic video on how to throw a punch properly. Whether you decide to take up boxing or any other combat sports or you don’t, this information might be helpful to you in the future or at some point.

I was going to upload a bloopers video but I think me looking like I have a touch of Tourette’s is funny enough here lol.

If you’re looking to get into boxing at all, shoot me a message and we can organise a 1-1 or 2-1 session ✌️ by @hitandrunboxercise

Hey Everyone!

I’ve put together a slide show of 6 out the many many reasons why everyone should try boxing at some stage in their life. The first slide coming from an extremely personal stand point that has kept me sane through tough times.

Give them a read and if any of these points hit home, shoot me a message and we can organise a 1-1 or 2-1 boxing sessions. by @hitandrunboxercise
