2003! before Hit-Boy i went by Focus. i was 16 years old here.

found my old bio and these pictures. i was in a group called Front Runnaz. my dad Big Hit called from prison and gave us that name. my uncle Rodney B from Troop was our manager back then, teaching me about music and the business.

i designed the pants i’m wearing in both photos—cutting up bandanas and other material and sewing / gluing them onto my jeans. whatever i could get my hands on, i wanted to create something with it.

that’s Tony next to me in the 2nd photo. he went by Enaut and taught me how to really use Fruity Loops / FL Studio. my cousin Phashon took these pics. he was a big believer in my talent and always supported me.

neither of them are here anymore. forever grateful they were part of my beginning. love to Tony and Phashon 🕊️

swipe to read what i was saying at 16. a lot of people heard the name Hit-Boy. there’s a lot about Chauncey i haven’t shared. all my young creatives stay focused and keep hustling! it's possible!! by @hitboy
