The outfit called for popcorn 🍿

Almost talked myself out of posting this because I started wondering what people would think. Which is hilarious, considering the entire point of the post. 😂

Recovering perfectionist and people pleaser here 🙋🏻‍♀️ and one of the most interesting things about being in my 30s has been realizing how much time I’ve spent trying to be versions of myself I thought other people wanted to see.

The funny thing is, the more I’ve let go of that, the more interesting life has gotten.

I’ve started sharing more of what I love, saying yes to things that scare me, and putting myself out there before I feel 100% ready. And somehow, that’s led to opportunities younger me would be screaming over. 🥹 Like hello, I just worked with @k18hair and my face is on @sephora ! I mean you have to search for it, BUT IT’S THERE.

I’m still the girl with a million interests, big hair, a flair for the dramatic, the belief that you can never be overdressed, and an unhealthy attachment to fictional characters. I’m just finally letting all of her have a little fun.

And if you’re figuring out how to stop editing yourself for everyone else’s approval, I think we’ll get along just fine. 🫶🏼

“Flowers grow in the strangest of places, Bartholomew. Even cracks.”

And I hope even in the slow, or quiet, or sad, or hard moments, if you cannot find beauty yet, that you do find hope.

just like me, my chair has range! 💁🏻‍♀️

I’m overly obsessed with my new @amseatec.seating Cove Chair and how much comfort and versatility it has brought to my space and daily life!

Work from home, gaming, reading — it can all be done here. ✨
