8 days later and that's about as good as my current modelling skills will get me. Now on to the hair and clothes.

Trying to figure out my workflow. My modelling skills are amateur at best and I'm still learning zbrush. I couldn't figure out how to use reference images so I fell back on ol reliable Maya to do most of the blocking for Elias's facial structure. Then I just used pure ref to the side as reference. I'm learning as I go so this might take some time.

Meet Elias.. As I create more and more assets I'll continue to drop lore about the world that this story takes place. I've had to simplify my characters compared to what I have in my head because I'm not strong at modeling or topology or textures so I've dumbed everything down to match my level. As long as the story is good then I think the aesthetics can take a back seat.

I plan to start with characters, props then world assets.

This was just a confirmation test to prove to myself that I can start working on my original IP and to stop waiting for the perfect moment cause there's no perfect time to start.. Just start.

Might see this guy as an Easter egg in my IP so keep a look out for him 😅
