We are incredibly saddened to share the loss of Tyler “Ty” Paton, beloved member of Hitting the Field Network, and Combine host.

Ty was the type of person who lit up any room he walked into; however, all of us at HTF were lucky enough to see him every week talking about one of the things he was most passionate about, sports. Ty was an expert at what he did, and knew more about football than everyone.

From being in the podcast room hosting Combine, to helping our ESPN+ pregame show crew by being talent and part of the crew, Ty left an impact on the program and everyone in it.

Ty’s family has started a foundation called the Tyler Jhett Paton foundation, with the purpose of raising awareness to mental health. Please consider donating if you are able.

Please check on your friends. Even the ones who seem like they are the happiest people you know.

We are incredibly saddened by the loss of our dear friend Ty, please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. by @hittingthefield
