Let’s Dive In ⤵️

Do you have disorganized kitchen shelves? If so, we can help!

This video showcases The Hive Method™ process. I started by clearing everything off my shelves. I reevaluated every item and only kept those that made sense for my prep station. Frankly, I was ready to upgrade the look of my shelves too.

Here are some tips for transforming your floating shelves, for those who enjoy this sort of thing. If not, hire us by booking a complimentary discovery call on our website, and let’s chat about your project.

Tips for taking control of your hive’s shelves ⬇️
1️⃣ Declutter: Remove anything that doesn’t serve a functional purpose or enhance the aesthetic appeal.
🐝 Consider whether any items feel out of place or clutter the space visually.

2️⃣ Organize: Arrange items by their use or visual harmony.
🐝 For instance, keep all kitchen-related items like jars and bowls together.
🐝 Use vertical space wisely. Smaller decorative items like plants or books can be stacked or layered to create depth without overcrowding.

3️⃣ Decorate: Incorporate varying heights and textures to keep the eye moving and interested.
🐝 Mix plants, books, and kitchenware, and consider adding a small art piece or a decorative vase to enhance this space. This time, I chose to let my sconce be the art 😉
🐝 Stick to a consistent color palette or theme to ensure a cohesive look.

Buzz-Worthy Tip: As you refine your shelving, remember to keep functionality in mind. Every item should feel purposeful, either by being useful or by contributing to the overall style of the space.

MEET THE FOUNDER | TIFFANY WHEELER

I’ve always believed a home should tell your story, not someone else’s.

I’m drawn to natural materials, aged woods, imperfect stone, vintage finds, and pieces that carry a little history. I love mixing old with new and creating spaces that feel collected over time, rather than decorated overnight.

But beautiful design is only part of it. What matters most is how a home makes you feel and how it supports the life you’re living.

That’s the heart behind Hivehouse Co. and my philosophy of Simplified Living™.

Not minimalism. Meaning.

I’m glad you’re here. Come along for the projects, the process, the unexpected finds, and everything in between.

Tell me, are you drawn to old things with character or something fresh and new?

What separates a home from a trend?

How you move through a morning. Where things land at the end of the day. What you feel when you walk in the door.

Your home doesn’t have to impress the nosy neighbor. It has to work for the people living in it. And if the judgmental sass pot ends up obsessed anyway, that’s the money, honey!

Grounded in purpose. Curated for Simplified Living™.

Good design doesn’t start with a paint swatch. It starts with a conversation.

I want to know how your home actually works—where mornings get hectic, what keeps piling up, which room nobody uses and why. From there, every step has a purpose: a clear proposal, floor plans shaped around real life, finishes chosen with intention, and sourcing through install handled for you.

Real time, not a weekend flip. A home built around the life being lived inside it.

Serving Round Rock, Georgetown, Austin, and surrounding areas. Swipe through the full process, then head to the link in bio to book a discovery call.

Sometimes a remodel throws you a curveball...Like discovering a hidden concrete deck cantilevered through the window… or realizing the tub wasn’t just installed—it was literally built into the structure beneath the window. 😅

Stay the course with us…this one is going to be worth the wait. 🛁🥂
